Sidewalker you're so fixated on "Bammers" but it's definitely been other teams posters that have tried to stretch the truth or downright troll this topic.
The only ones I've seen since I've been in this topic were BLG, BIGJLAW, and 14&Counting so pardon me.

Really? Didn't O tell Husch-Blackwell investigators he didn't talk to her and then later say that he doesn't remember talking to her?
Yes.
That is why reading is important.

The lady says O offered to have Guice apologize to her over the phone but she refused so it appears that according to her, O handled it like you said.

The “Curse of Willy T” continues. Every time the Jester appears from the dungeon, bad JuJu for LSU seems to follow. LSU’s fan equivalent of Phil Fulmer. Karma perhaps.

I guess one should talk with the player and insist he apologize.

I believe her. So, it sounds like Orgeron indeed tried to get him to apologize. Do you realize that your proving yourself wrong here?

I hear all the time about how NFL teams vet their draft picks, coaching candidates, etc. That has to all be complete horseshite. With multiple complaints against this guy, Washington still invested a second round draft pick and got exactly what they deserved. I hope Guice can get his life together, but the culture of deifying athletes makes being a fan gross when you see this kind of thing (To be clear, I am not making out like this is an LSU only issue)

I believe her too. What do you think I'm proving myself wrong about?

You keep bringing up that Orgeron claims that he didn't talk to her and then asking who is to be believed the lady or O. Believing Orgeron is irrelevant because he isn't the one making the claim that he attempted to make Guice apologize.

That doesn’t matter.
If that did, Freeze’s hookers would have never been discovered.

I hadn't seen that either. Brer has been all over this whole situation with an objective view. It's been refreshing to see.
The view from the briar patch is amazing, baws.
Though not quite as good as the view from Sun God's back forty since he took over that Texan's ranch.

It would be a terrible look for him if he denies to show up.
Kind of like Will Wade not showing up to his bosses office after the FBI wire tapped conversation " strong arse offer "
It worked out well for Wade
No comment should be the reply always on matters like this and the more you speak the deeper the hole one digs.
I do agree with what you said but if he did not speak with the lady then take him for his word.

He can be compelled by his boss’s boss.
It depends how much political pressure the president would be under if O failed to appear.
None of us know that information.

Correct. It's all a political calculation.
And regardless of what the board or President say out loud in public, they surely are factoring in the blowback they would get from LSU's fanbase. They got a nice test run of that with Will Wade's suspension.
And Woodward is the most uber political animal LSU has ever had as AD. The man used to practically live in the state capitol.
But I still think it is very unlikely LSU is going to make O go testify.

Wade is simply being accused of paying players. Orgeron is being accused of covering up sexual misconduct while being interviewed about sexual misconduct by the firm hired to help clean things up. This is after changing his story publicly. The situation with Orgeron is much worse.

According to the woman, O apparently had a talk with Guice and was going to make him apologize to her.
Thus, that could be seen as "handling it correctly."
According to O, he never talked to her so if he has, then he might've unnecessarily lied which could ultimately sink him if its proven he did.

Not even remotely a comparable situation.
LSU can’t easily get out of Wade’s buyout without NCAA action. Even if Wade gets fired when the hammer drops, he got to collect a paycheck while the bureaucratic gears grinded.
Orgeron is getting very close to a point where even the best lawyer ain’t getting him his buyout money. He’s not quite there yet, but refusing to show up to something like this will put him in a vulnerable position if the president starts to feel heat from this scandal.
That being said, if Orgeron knows he lied about the phone call. He’d be an idiot to show up. Lying would come with sever consequences and telling the truth would tank your reputation and end your career.
Only a real man go would go under oath and be honest in this situation, so we’ll learn a lot about O either way.
