The fact that this is so close to football season really makes it rough for A&M. Even if nothing comes of this the NCAA sometimes can take a long time to decide. Consequently A&M might not play him in their first couple of games, if it does indeed take that long, for fear of risking playing an ineligible player that would cause A&M to forfeit a win or something.
MAYBE against Rice and SHSU, but he'd play against Bama. We cant beat them without him anyway, so a vacated win matters not.

no one is saying manziel is getting off with no suspension, its just funny that you think the program is going down as well
You fail to remember your program's worth is based around Manziel. You need to follow up last season or else you are Auburn. Without Manizel you cannot keep up the scoring pace your defense will allow. Your programs momentum will be done recruiting will suffer etc.
Now is the time for your program to capitalize. Take it from LSU Dinardo couldnt follow up and we slipped back.

The program? Not the whole program.
But this year's team can be in a real world of hurt. Anyone who was around when the AJ Green stuff went down (on a smaller scale), the NCAA dicked them around for a few weeks into the season. At the very least it's possible that he ends up sitting a few games because I don't see Sumlin taking that risk. And that's all dependent on what the NCAA finds and if they end up suspending him additional games. AJ Green got I believe half the season over $1,000 jersey that was sold.
He's pretty much your core guy, especially with a pretty young offense around him in comparison to last season. Who is even backing him up at this point? How long has he been with you all? I'm genuinely curious because I don't know.

Blew the whole wad on ProActiv. His complexion seems much better than the Heisman presentation.
