Practically every older person in my life has played the “get up, you’re burning daylight” card if you choose to sleep past 7 AM. Screw that. Practically all of them get up early, drink coffee and piddle with random, unproductive shite, then take an extended nap in the middle of the day, daring anyone to tell them that they’re burning daylight when they do it.
