Going to be some interesting angled camera shots for her duel with Hector. I will have to look and see who is cast as Hector.
AI says that Hector is from The Iliad and won’t be in it.

Deion also needs to bring the high school coach, the mama, and the li’l cousins Shadeur hung out with as a kid. They really need to maximize what he can do going forward.

PB Dems, feel free to answer, as well.
I voted for JBE when he won his first term as LA governor.

It’s the best of their last four or five, imo.

I’m old enough to have actually used one of those in my early years.
What album was your point of entry with Spoon? I’ve been on them since “Telephono.” It takes a critical bashing, but I think it’s really good. Their second LP, “A Series of Sneaks” is in my top five albums ever, and “Girls Can Tell” is in my top 100. They only have an album or two that I don’t really like, and they aren’t bad.
My Valuable Hunting Knife is really good, too. A-side.

When you find a reading program that’s successful then use it faithfully. It’s not that hard to understand.
Yep, seems to be common sense. This is one of the main reason I wanted to see the federal DOE done away with. Tons of funding, but always with strings attached. Those strings usually involve a lot of change for the sake of change. The next big thing, shiny new object is almost never better than the traditional way of doing things.
I’m not absolving states in unwise funding and decision making, from the state department, to the various districts, right on down to school-based decisions.

The next step, if the success is to be sustained, is to wake up the shitty parents who don’t value education, see school as state funded daycare, and think that their children do no wrong.
We’ve been near the bottom for so long that I understand the cynicism that will come from many. It would be wonderful to continue the growth.

But teaching kids actual class and not transgender biology probably does help.
I think you are joking, but that’s obviously not it. LA has finally reverted to some tried and true methods and curricula in reading and math instead of grabbing at straws that sound great in theory but simply don’t work in practice.
The significant growth is in lower elementary, but I would love to see the success work its way up the ladder.
Overall, up from 49th to 32nd.

So, you will now pay $6 for a QR code with nothing but information that is already readily available on your registration card and insurance card.
Not complaining, my inspection sticker expired last November, and I’ve been waiting in hopes that this passed.

Yep, still clear racial gerrymandering.
Like I said in another thread, Republicans continue to make concessions. If the shoe was on the other foot, the Democrats would steamroll us with a 6-0 blue map and never bat an eye.
