UGA should have a top 5 recruiting class every year by osmosis alone.

Seems like a boss banging a hot subordinate.
So the "subordinate" is fired and the "boss" receives a 30-day suspension? I don't think it works like that.

Yall got it all wrong.
This is punishment for Bresee going to Clemson
Our bagmen will not be outworked. Comrade King has been sentenced to life in the gulag while comrade Abdulai is undergoing remediation.
Supreme Leader Kirby wants to fricking eat. And he wants you to fricking eat too.
All hail Supreme Leader Kirby. All hail mother Georgia.

If she got fired, Im guessing UGA is trying to get out ahead of something. Doesn't mean it's huge, but can't imagine them firing the girl and suspending the guy for hooking up. Usually it's the guy who loses his life for banging someone he's not supposed to.

I think it’s more likely that she committed violations given that she is his subordinate and he was suspended. I think if the violations were big they’d both be gone and UGA would be tripping over it’s own feet trying to fall on the sword (we have a history of doing this, especially with our current AD). My guess is it’s enough to lose some scholarships and maybe lose an OV or two but isn’t the death knell of our program that rivals will hope it is

If it's along those lines (and I don't have any reason to think it is), I'd guess it's more like girl hooks up with player/recruit, and boss may or may not have known about it (see suspension).
Could be something totally different.

Our rivals are so desperately hoping that this is going to be some big major scandal, when in reality all that will likely happen is losing a scholly or two and getting a slap on the wrist. It's actually funny watching rival posters get so fired up thinking something serious will happen.

If it was potentially significant, I doubt Kirby would have fired them. Pay them more to keep their mouth shut instead.

From another site:
quote:
Per the insider sites, this has NOTHING to do with sexual relationships of any kind. King failed to follow repeated protocol directives from the UGA Compliance office. The indication is that nothing she did was overly serious with regards to the overall compliance picture, but it was a wanton and repeated violation of University implemented compliance directives. If anything, it sounds like the worst thing that occurred was too much contact with recruits, putting the program at risk for minor violations. All indications are that Abdulai either was aware of King’s disregarding of the compliance directives and failed to report back to compliance, or he was made aware by a recruit and did not follow up, but a fellow staff member DID follow up when the same recruit mentioned it to the football staff. Not much to see here other than an employee violating University protocol that was put in place to protect the program; said employee was terminated; and resulting violations would be self reported and minor. The major sin here wasn’t any kind of NCAA compliance issue, but a wanton disregard for the directives set in her employment with UGA.
