There isn’t any indication because they want it to be done quietly, and as smooth as possible. The Casey thing was a ploy from him, and I think some people at LSU wanted Sully, and Sully might have been interested, but both parties knew it wouldn’t workout.

Casey was put out by Rodgers on behalf of LSU to test the waters. That's a hire they could've made but they wanted to see what the backlash would be so they leaked it to media.
Sully has some personal issues that impacted his candidacy. I think he would've taken it if offered but LSU decided not to do so in it's best interest.
Sully is loosely (or perhaps closely, if you listen per rumors) to a murder suicide where a man killed his 2 kids and himself.

It was more than that. You don't bring someone in, give them a tour, and I assume conduct an interview if they weren't really a candidate.

Living in Oxford is so much better than Baton Rouge though.
BR has really become one of the largest shitholes in the SEC. Hell LA is the laughing stock of the SEC as just a state. Well Georgia (State of) is up there as well.

BR is nothing special but overall Oxford is pretty bad as well.

This isn't about who is interested in the job. McDonnell may be offered the job down the road but as of right now there isn't any indication he's a prime candidate.

And how do we know that a deal hasn't just been reached with McDonnell and they're just holding off announcing it until LSU's season is officially over?
