Whit Weeks just elevated himself to untouchable status to 97% of LSU fans simply because he mentioned the mythical being known as “God.”

TN Tygah

Whit Weeks is the definition of a true Tiger. In today's era of college football, this kid is an old-school breath of fresh air. His enthusiasm, both on and off the field, is contagious.

Weeks proudly representing LSU at SEC Media Days:
quote:

I thank God every single day for allowing me to be an LSU Tiger. It is truly the honor of my lifetime to put on that purple and gold and represent the great state of Louisiana and the great fans. It's an honor that I don't take lightly. I know how passionate our fan base is and I'd be doing them a disservice if I don't go out there every single day and give 110 percent for them.

CEH has proven to be an average back that was a product of all world talent around him.

This idea is stupid. Part of the reason Saban retired is because the entire landscape of college football has shifted with NIL and the transfer portal. Handing out free Dodge Chargers doesn't work anymore. It's an entirely different world now.

we won't go 6-6 , we will lose a close one to a very good clenson team because we have so many new peices and then we will go on a tear and the game against Bama will be for the west and we will make the playoff

I was just talking far-fetched hypothetical and by no means think LSU goes 6-6. I really don't know what to expect with this team. If I had to venture a guess, loss at Clemson, upset loss to TBD, upset win at Bama, all the rest wins, and squeeze into playoffs.

A certain media figure in Baton Rouge who seems to have about 30 different podcasts also kept repeating this false narrative.

I can make an educated guess on who the guilty culprit is, but avoid listening to him because his antics annoy me. Could you please confirm my suspicion though?

If we have a catastrophic meltdown like you’re suggesting there with 6-6 he should be fired

I hate to say it, but even if this team bombed and went 6-6 this year, while on a scorching hot seat, Kelly still wouldn't be fired after the season.
quote:

Once selected late like this and you sign , you give up the opportunity for big bucks next year. He should come back. The difference in nil money and signing for late round money is not much.

It's not that difficult to read up, learn, and observe how the MLB draft process works, especially if you're an LSU baseball fan. Educate yourself before making nonsense posts like this. It's not rocket science.

BK , while far from perfect, has done a good job getting the program back to top 10 conversation.
He has also won 29 games in 3 years, 3 bowl wins, and a heisman. That’s nothing to scoff at.

Kelly is undoubtedly a solid coach. But all of these other accomplishments mean absolutely jack shite if he's not consistently making the playoffs (and winning season openers).

Crazy he went before Jones…

I wouldn't be shocked if Frey is drafted before Jones. Great athleticism for his size and high upside, attractive to scouts. He can be developed to learn a position in the minors.
Rizy is so tall the tv score graphic cuts over his head.
Will be very interesting to see what Frey, Cowan, and Noot decide to do. Those are likely the biggest question marks. Would be huge if even just two of those three stayed to play another year at LSU. Fingers crossed.

Right because they are all signing up to play football for Jay Johnson.

Jay's success is helping elevate the LSU brand, which all LSU sports benefit from.
