On a positive note, Larson is batting .467 as a starter in SEC games. Has been one of the few bright spots this season. Kid is a special player and could be the next LSU great.

Griffin Herring pitched in all three of LSU's SEC wins, recording the win in two of them. In his only other SEC appearance LSU did not win, he went 4.2 innings with 0 runs allowed, 8 K's, and 0 walks to carry the team to extra innings against Arky before Hurd came in to earn the loss.
