Aub being down is sad news. You won’t hear sympathy from Bama fans, even though Aub has given Alabama some of its most memorable defeats. Show the Aub Tigers some love while they’re down, Gumps!

Auburn was circling the drain last year when they came to BR and we made Bo Nix look like a Heisman QB. I'm not counting any wins until the final whistle.

When I'm tempted to feel even a little sympathy for them, I remember the "fear the thumb" and the 6 year losing streak. My sympathy immediately goes away.

Beating that Ms State juggernaught got the Tiger fans feeling damn good. Even more than after they beat Southern.

No matter the year, playing at Jordan Hare has never been a gimme.
Also for the betting types, LSU has never beaten both Auburn and Florida on the road in the same year since divisions were created.

My wife and I had just moved in with each other that summer before after getting engaged. I was so pissed off and had thrown the remote and turned the TV off after watching the halftime show's first half highlights.
She was, uh, not ready for how intense I could get over the IB. She called me a "crazy person" and I remember saying, "Yeah, it's called a 'fan'-short for 'fanatic', get used to it."
I had to apologize later.
