Arkansas vs LSU

Returns to rivalry weekend. Seeing that Oklahoma and Mizzou will be playing rivalry weekend going forward.
This does make more sense than having a forced rivalry in OU vs LSU, or the Mizzou and Arkansas rivalry that Arkansas refuses to acknowledge.
I know LSU fans have been requesting this change. Now I see why the OU and Mizzou banter has been picking up on the board from Sooners.
Is everyone excited with the update?

LSU vs Arkansas hasn't been much of a rivalry game since 2011 when #1 LSU beat #3 Arkansas 41-17 and Bobby Petrino made a fool of himself, for the first time, after claiming LSU ran up the score

Les Miles could win some big games but he always struggled with the mid arkansas teams ?? barely beat them in ‘12 and ‘13. Lossed bad in ‘14 & ‘15

LSU doesn't really care. They are more annoyed that people call it a rivalry and the SEC forced them into it.
They care much more about Alabama and Ole Miss. Having the Arkansas game after the Alabama game has frustrated them for years Because when they lost, they get into a funk and don't play as hard in the Arkansas game.

Midzou is not a rival and never has been. That's as "forced" as it gets.

Arkansas doesn't care about Mizzou, and think themselves worthy of LSU despite getting absolutely smoked by Mizzou. LSU doesn't care about Arkansas because they are special little Cajuns with no rivals. Oklahoma doesn't care about Mizzou because they are singularly focused on the State of Texas.
Maybe Oklahoma and LSU should meet in rivalry week and explicitly agree to not care about each other.
Arkansas can play Texas A&M.
And we would genuinely love to play South Carolina.

Texas A&M should have kept him as the OC. North Carolina should win around 9 games this season.

Who are your rivals btw? Just horn and Oklahoma State?
Who would you guys prefer to play rivalry weekend? I don’t think you have much history with any team other than former Big 12 teams, so you kind of allowed yourselves to be put in that box.

He was doing well at Arkansas. The defense was their weakness last year.

LSU Ole Miss needs to be Halloween weekend. It's a fricking crime it's 3rd week of the season.
