Are grade requirements not standard across the SEC?

He’s JUCO at best this Fall. If rumors were true about Fall grades, only thing to fix it was a passing Spring GPA and this sounds like he’s still struggling. Nobody can take you with a bad transfer GPA, no matter how good you are

ETA: Anyone pushing UGA right now either knows it’s not a grade issue or is just talking out of their arse

I doubt LSU doesn't have tutors available for the players, so if he's not passing it's because he hasn't put the effort in.

That's a red flag. I bet he doesn't make it wherever he transfers unless it gives him a structure he can stick with.

Much easier to get someone eligible out of high school than via transfer. Out of high school, you just have to get them passing their NCAA mandated core with a relatively low GPA. Catching them up and keeping them eligible is the hard part.

Not so sure about that. Pickens has been attending class and keeping a respectable GPA. No troll... Kirby has said as much.

Tutors only work if someone wants to be tutored, need structure that supports growth and discipline outside the academic space and he either didn’t hve that or didn’t want it at LSU (to your point, it sounds like it may be more a personal issue).

Bigger issue is that he supposedly hasn’t been in BR to access any support services this Spring, means he has been trying to fly solo through online courses. Nobody knows the actual situation but the assumption is it’s not going well.

Maybe Pickens is actually doing good (no way for me to know and I don’t really care)

But also, that’s how those things work

He was too big of a distraction in the locker room because we couldn’t get the corn dog stank off of him.

Wow...wonder if it was grades or if he thought he would immediately start no questions asked then realized Gamble and Zipperer were also seeing snaps.
