He's a good player. The common denominator of underperforming Texas offenses isn't Arch.

He is an above average college QB, lacks arm strength, has good mobility. If I had a top 10 team he would be down the list quite a bit.

I don't see the upside of taking him in. People keep saying above average but above average qb's look exceptional when surrounded by elite talent and he just doesn't have it.

Mediocre talent that brings huge distractions. No thanks.

He's a lightning rod for attention due to media hype and not every program wants to invite that into their building.

Oregon seems like the rehab assignment similar to Bo Nix.... they don't mind spending high dollar on overhyped players with upside.

But some want and/or need it.

Arch is going to be the starting qb at Texas until he runs out of eligibility.

He wont transfer. He was never going to declare for the draft prior to using up all his eligibility.

Shock jocks talk nonsense for ratings.

His biggest problem now is in his head. You have to get his head straight before you can clean up his physical play and that will be hard to do in one season.

I think he should transfer to Ole Mrs. Especially if their year 7 TRO for Chambliss doesn’t work, this time.

Horns thought they did. Now, they have a tar baby they don't know what to do with. Kind of fun to watch in a "tear the wings of flys" way.

Sark dropped the ball with ARCH,his coaching sucks.Arch is a good athlete but not a good QB who needed coaching and hasn’t gotten it.The scheme SS runs doesn’t fit his abilities.

That is part of the problem. He has been one of the most "coached" players in the country, but too many different coaches, had huge expectations placed on him and when things didn't go right, he has all of the criticism crashing down on him and is having everyone trying to "fix" him.

Arch needs to get away from the "Manning Circus" like another poster called it and Sark also. Too many cooks and expectations on him for him to reach whatever potential he has.

From what I've seen of him, which admittedly is not a whole lot, Arch implodes under pressure. His brain vapor locks under high stress.

Archie, Peyton and Eli were all three very different style QBs. If you are getting coaching from them it could be disastrous and have him confused.
