Unless they withdrew their names from the draft, they are already professionals.

Signing a contract was never the line.

Either maintain the facade of “amateur sports” or don’t.

You realize there are more rules than signing an nfl contract right? You do realize this?

The two players in question were waived by their tryout NFL teams, and them cleared waivers (meaning no other team wanted them).

They were not under contract

Please stop. Just stop with this nonsense.

What, exactly, is a "contract" with the NFL, and what bylaw of the SEC specifically forbids former college players who signed said contracts from returning to their school to play out their remaining eligibility?

Dude, Sankey couldn't define what a "professional" was - under oath. The clarifying language wasn't added to the SEC bylaws until AFTER this whole kerfuffle started and AFTER any actions by LSU or Kiffin that Sankey now feels warrant the death penalty.

If he couldn't do it when it counted most, what makes you think you can?

C'mon man. You're being rage-baited by a butthurt manbaby who tried to swing his meat around and hit a wall. Now he's pissed and out for revenge, and you're helping him get it - to your own detriment, if you think this through.

So, please, just stop.

Not an SEC rule. Follow the context of the thread. I realize that’s difficult.

I’m not being rage baited by anything. All I’m doing is trolling you clowns who are clearly jimmie rustled about the whole thing or you wouldn’t be reacting the way you did.
