The coaches poll damn near had Bama back at number one. I mean, UGA struggled, Bama dominated. If you struggle you should drop. Thats how we've been doing it.

Arkansas shouldn't have dropped that much. They looked good but just made some dumb mistakes.

I think it's because they slipped last week but won. IDK. I agree though, I think that's too much of a fall on one loss.

Georgia didn’t struggle. They took the day off.

Winning by 17 points isn’t really a “struggle game.”

It was an ugly game for UGA. A TD with 5 minutes left in the game didn't mask UGA's awful play. Also had 200 passing put on them. UGA is finally showing the effects of the defensive losses.

OSU didn’t really struggle against ND, either.

Yes they did.

Don't be so pessimistic. CFB's down overall this year. I wonder if it's due to NIL and transfer portal. If a player doesn't want to play hard and get PT, they can always transfer.

As it stands there are 4 SEC teams in the top 10. Georgia plays 3 of them(with the understanding that Bama wins the West) and has played #13 Oregon. Not such a week schedule after all as things stand today.

TBH, I think we've got a very good team but our schedule is rough sledding. We'd keep the ranking if we were in a different conference but we have LSU, BAMA, UGA, and UK on deck. If we manage to split those 4 games, our coaches will have done one helluva job.

It was a poor performance for UGA, but it was not a close game. UGA gave up 200 yards to sc and nearly 200 to Oregon… not sure why you think that yardage number matters.

The reality for UGA in this game were some relatively small or unlikely to repeat factors. First was the turnovers. McConkey (who’s a good hands guy) had 2 fumbles. That’s unlikely to be a normal occurrence. The second issue was too many fg drives instead of td drives. Uga had the same issue with Sanford (but not Oregon and sc). The third issue was a few instances of bad pursuit/tackling technique where plays that should have been short ended up going for long plays.

Only the last is really a concern.

This game wasn’t ever in doubt so it wasn’t a struggle. UGaa was up 9 after the first quarter, 13 after 2, 16 after 3 and 17 after 4. The turnovers and fgs instead of tds kept it from a big blowout… but it wasn’t close.

Kansas State beats OU head to head but are seven spots behind them with the same record. Seems legit

If Tennessee and Kentucky are the 7th and 8th best teams in the country then college football is absolute shite.

Is there a specific reason all these Reb fans are letting their vaginas bleed all over the forums, or is it just because no ones giving y'all the attention you crave?

Agreed. Takes a lot to sled through a SEC schedule. Have to be very good on both sides of the ball.

That bad snap was the nail in the coffin. We had a shot to score a TD there had that not happened. Worst case, we drain more clock and set up a better FG attempt.
