This is a unique situation where the national media and head coach are under some sort of spell with Archibald. It will not get any better next year. He just does not have IT… makes terrible decisions in crunch time and frankly has a noodle arm.

He will more than likely come back next year under the guise of “doing things the right manning way” when in reality the NFL market is just not there for him. Will Texas have to bite the bullet and start him?

Sark will have to look himself in those burnt orange goggles and make a tough call.

A unique spelling of the word "hoping". But I guess I'll allow it.

He has to make a change. Arch should transfer to Ole Miss.

No offense Ole Miss, it’s just an optics thing where everyone “wins.”

I mean except for Ole Miss of course…

Arch may never play a meaningful snap in the NFL. He is bad and completely overhyped.

As a non-Texas fan, I’m not concerned in the least if Arch, Sark, Bevo, Devo, or anyone else for that matter costs Texas a championship next year or any year thereafter.

plenty of blame to go around for both Sark and Arch. but if I'm Arch's family I implore him to get away from Sark. the situation will not magically get better next year.

Actually, he should transfer to Virginia.

This. Look, the kid has as live an arm as I've seen this year. He can sling it.

And he can run it. But its obvious too much is going on between those ears.

He needs to get the Hell out of there. For his own good.

Not even kinda concerned.
I’m very hopeful he will though.

I look for him to transfer if he stays in college. It just kind of feels like that both Arch and Texas both need to start fresh. Ole Miss will be looking for a QB next year. Maybe he follows his Uncle Peyton and ends up at Tennessee. Who knows he might even go back to where it all began for him and go home to Louisiana and play for Lane and LSU. He certainly needs a change of address though if he stays in college.

Yes. I was just a dinner with my wife and that exactly what we talked about. How we would be totally upset and concerned about Texas’s football program if Arch stays.

The unfairness of it all. They deserve so much better.

Zero percent chance. The Mannings are not fond of LSU.

In fact, I’m counting on it

Lies. Y'all prayed before the meal, then discussed the new Yell Leader Uniforms and how great it would be if you could all be Tex Ags Forever. You, Her, the Grand-Kids, and the Yell Leaders.

Don't lie. We know.

AU is going to need a QB next year. Maybe Sark can not ruin him, and Golesh can make him into something.
