Any coaches you legit just didn’t like as a person?

9All the accolades for Mike Leach are well deserved. Anybody should aspire to have similar things said about them when they cross the rainbow bridge.
That being said, I have a hard time thinking of many coaches where I really think they are just a-holes or low-character people.
Some are better at needling. Some are ruthless. Some are just blah. Relatively few seem unlikeable.
At the college level, Urban “Win At ANY Cost” Meyer is my first thought.
In the NFL, it would prolly be Buddy “Bounty Bowl” Ryan.
Any others?

Spurrier. Hell of a coach but a petty individual, IMO.
I grew up on Shug, Bear, Dye, and Vince. Coaches who always praised and spoke highly of their opponents. Spurrier did not fit that mold by any measure.

When Gary Patterson put his name forward for the TCU job, Franchione met with the brass at TCU and told them that Patterson wasn't "ready" to be a head coach. He actively tried to sabotage his career because he wanted to retain him on staff as his DC.
That's pretty low.

Really? I feel the total opposite.
To me they either come across as intentional a holes like Saban or Ra Ra try hards like Dabo.
Then you also have the lame as hell cliche machines.
