Why would he move to TE when an NFL team is about to draft him top 3?

Does anyone squander more talent that Florida?

I think he cared about one thing and one thing only: getting a big NFL paycheck.

I think you'll see it a lot more if he gets drafted as high as he probably will. A lot more kids mostly not caring about CFB and focusing on staying healthy.

Too late for him to convert to TE?

Who else? We had two 1st rounders two years ago who are crushing it in the NFL.

I don't remember anyone else sucking in college then suddenly turning it on in the pros.

1st round QBs that don't pan out have much longer and more lucrative careers than TEs that don't.

Also why does everyone treat the tight end position like something so easy any athlete can pick it up? It's hard to be a great TE.

He would have been a OLB/DE at UGA

And still can't fricking throw the ball in the ocean.

I once tried to toss a football to my buddy who was swimming in the ocean, one of those ref-toss types of throws, a gust of wind blew it back onto the sand. The worst part is that girls were watching.

there’s a very real chance he ends up the number 1 or 2 pick.

And the GM that takes him there should be fired on the spot for gross incompetence.

I think we're going to be really surprised.

I thought he sucked overall but he had areas where he was really good. He would routinely make great reads and passes few qbs can make.

But then he'd miss a guy in the flat five yards away.

I think he was preserving himself to prevent injuries. He'll likely run a lot in the pros.

I think he's going to be good and as a gator fan that will be pretty bittersweet. I don't think he gave us & much more than 50%

Must feel great watching him do that after such a stellar QB career at UF.

Too bad he can’t throw or read a defense.

It's not great, but we only got one year with him starting.

I think if Mullen had started him early last year we'd have a different story. But dude just said f this I'm going to the league.

I think it's going to become more common among top flight guys, sadly.

Reading defense was probably his best skill in his year as a starter. He was also very accurate medium to long and dreadful in short passes.

If someone teaches him how to not rocket fastballs at a dude ten feet away ... well I guess that's what the NFL is banking on.

We also had our worst WRs since I attended and started watching the Gators.
