It is mathematically impossible for Houston to appeal.

a lot of wasted space in this thread because it's not moving from Atlanta

Just curious here, how many SEC teams have actually had fans in the Bird's Nest In Atlanta?
So many expressing pure boredom and being tired, and oh, the indignation of it all, having to trek to a place they have never set foot in as an opponent is comical.

ACC would jump to Atlanta the first second the SEC even considers moving else where.
Keep it in the ATL, only move that should be considered it moving it to Nashville if the titans ever built a new domed stadium.

Hell no. It's beyond stupid, if only for the fact that no SEC East school is closer than a 12 hour drive...
As opposed to the 13 hour drive from A&M to Atlanta?
One school? You mean change the location to accommodate one school, as opposed to seven? Don't be an idiot.
Tell you what, skippy...before we talk about moving the game to accommodate the A&M fans, why don't we actually see if they can ever actually qualify for the game first.
Distances to Houston from the East:
Missouri...12:58
Kentucky...15:06
Vandy...11:54
Tennessee...13:31
South Carolina...14:35
Georga...12:48
Florida---12:27
Distances to Atlanta from the West:
LSU...7:29
Ole Miss...5:04
Auburn...1:38
Alabama...3:07
Miss. State...4:33
Arkansas...10:27
A&M...12:29

Outside of the Golden Triangle, DFW is the worst part of Texas. A characterless maze of chain restaurants and an uppity high society that is in massive credit card debt.

Why would the SEC move the game to Houston? It is not even remotely close to any school that has a shot of reaching the game.

Are you incapable of reading, or did you not notice the LSU by my name, or that I never said to move the game to Houston?

Atlanta has one of the best NFL stadiums in the country. We don’t want to risk that spot to appease shitty Texans.

what morons are downvoting people saying Dallas over Houston. Have you ever been to either fricking city you fricking dolts.

Well, all I know is that every time Bama goes to Atlanta, the MB Stadium is to Georgia what Death Valley is to LSU.
Posted on 12/29/20 at 10:05 am to bamameister
It should be kept permanently in Atlanta or rotated with Dallas. No one wants to go to Houston.

I've lived in both. I'd almost rather live in New Orleans than Dallas. Dallas sucks arse. Every Texas who isn't a metroplexual knows this.

That's a long way for eastern teams and bama to travel every year. We have to think of the participants and their fans.
