Correct, 2008 comes to mind, when Texas was left out despite winning head to head over the team that got in over them with identical records and a stronger SOS
A&M fans literally are the whiniest, conspiratorial fans in the country. I can’t think of another fan base that is even close to being a bigger bunch of losers, who would even be close?

The Steers lose at A&M and they are out,.if everyone else wins out. They wont get in ahead of the SECCG winner.
They won't have any good wins, None. Ole Miss beat UGA. The Viles beat Bama. Bama beat UGA. Georgia thumped them,So would have the Aggies.

It's about ratings and TV market. Ask FSU. They should have been in last year with an undefeated record. Nick Saban went on TV crying and sniveling and of course ESPN made sure that Bama got in.
