That might be true but you have played them 11 times, I don't think that is much of a factor

I'll bite. Why? I mean, I know you play Alabama and UGA every year, but so does Tennessee.

Don't get me wrong, I am thinking there is a good reason to say what you said, but I am wondering why Auburn has played a tougher schedule.

UT plays UGA and Bama but we played them but we also played UF every year and played GT when they were still good and we didn't get to play Kentucky and Vandy every year.

I agree but half of this thread is people acting like LSU scheduled Louisiana Monroe 8 games a year for 100 years so I'm just pointing out evidence to the contrary

But they do have 98 games vs. Tulane. 34 of which were SEC play... everyone needs an in conference bye.

LSU played Tulane yearly for the same reason Tennessee plays Vandy yearly. And they were far more respectable in the paleolithic days of CFB

I was just joking, Bama had a clear advantage over the years with Vandy as a "rival."

But let's not get crazy. Tulane only had like 7 winning seasons in conference play during their 3 decades in the SEC.

Alabama will never be #1 in strength of schedule in the SEC because Alabama cannot play itself.

That's not even a troll, that's just a fact. Alabama has been the most consistent strong team over the entirety of the SEC's history and other teams have to play Alabama every single year, that's going to make their schedule strength tough.

We were 3-1 against the "Big 6" this year, but only 2-2 against the little 8.

Has anyone ever seen an article referring to the "Big 6" outside of this forum?

You're right - it isn't in the Bible, so it isn't legitimate

Since 1933, Auburn has literally played an extra 100 games against other "Big6 + Georgia Tech" teams compared to LSU.

I don't believe this. Auburn didn't even play Alabama for about 30 of those years because they had a fight over gate receipts.
