Nussmeier is criminally underrated. Don't know anything about LSU's OL, RBs, or WRs, but Nuss is going to give teams headaches.

I'll say this:

P. Thorne threw for 3200 yds and 27 TDs when he was throwing to Keon Coleman, Jayden Reed, Tre Mosely & Connor Heyward and handing the ball to Kenneth Walker III

Last year isn't this season...
Thowing to Cam Coleman, KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Robert Lewis, & Rivaldo Fairweather and handing the ball to Marquez Hunter will be pretty good... Especially with Brother Hugh calling the plays...

He then lost the QB competition at MSU two springs later.

False

He didnt lose any competition, but he was not promised the position either. He just had to compete.

How can you rank QBs who have never had any significant playing time?

The same way they do all preseason rankings/lists other than watch lists. They pull it out of their arse in hopes of driving clicks

Why do you think Cook is gonna have the most sacks/fumbles. OL takes a step back? He didn't have an issue this past season with turnovers, and OL just had 2 sacks a game.

Brock was simply stuck behind phenoms at QB when at Georgia. All reports of him from Georgia coaching and players support the fact that we have someone waiting to shine, and I suspect with our receiving corps, he will finish at the top portion of the list.

Brock is a great person and athlete. He can throw the ball real far and run fast.

He is not a good QB and isn’t going to magically turn it around this year. Being a great athlete doesn’t always translate to a success skill position.

OL could arguably be even better than they were last yeah and they were outstanding last year. C, RG, and RT all come back, replaced LG and LT with, at the very least, comparable talents (Green has a higher ceiling than Delgado), and added quality depth. Of all the position groups I worry about, OL is near the bottom of the list. Pair that with the SOS and Cook's mobility and experience and he will be near the bottom of the league in times sacked. I guess maybe he all-of-a-sudden develops a fumbling problem but I doubt it.

LSU Oline is one of the best in the country anchored by Will Campbell, a certain top 5 draft pick. Nuss should have a great year with some explosive WR’s.

Thorne saw the writing on the wall at Mich State and did the right thing by transferring when he did.

The other 2 QB’s stayed and ruined their stocks. They are now backup QBs at Coastal Carolina and Eastern Carolina.

the race for most overrated is, unsurprisingly, a two team race between texas qbs. The good, but not great, oft-injured quinn ewers and conner weigman, an even more oft-injured qb that plays approximately four live snaps every season before every bone, ligament, and tendon in his body breaks and tears

He throws the football like a baseball, has no touch, and can’t put the ball in spots only his receivers can get to.

He’s a thrower, not a QB. Works fine if receivers are wide open with direct lanes to throw. He will have games against lesser talent where you will think he’s going to win the Heisman. But he will struggle against most of the SEC.

Again, I like the kid but he’s a better athlete than QB.
