Toughest sled in all of college football right now and it doesn't really let up yet.

If bama pulls out a win next week it will be on par with some of the best accomplishments Nick had in his storied career.

Enjoy the ride and quit worrying about what might be. By all rights you should be mid decline but here you are.

Drink can time him with the stopwatch. Kirby is the playcaller. Would you like for Drink to go back to calling plays, or micromanage Kirby?

Their QB needs to get better at accuracy or hes going to cost them two more games.

Mizzou needs to redesign their passing game to get him out to the edges.

In the pocket he's a mess. Simplify his reads and give him the run-pass options he's done better with.

A&M’s better

But I’ll grant you it’s a different era, it’s not dominant murderball but, in such a stacked conference, really playing complimentary football that controls time of possession will win the day

I couldn't say this last season but this year, the SEC is easily the strongest conference in the game. We really should have 5 teams in the playoffs.

Missouri is a very well coached, tough team.

The defense had very good edge pressure, was rarely out of position and by and large covered a really good passing team effectively.

Offensively I saw a great run team who desperately needed a big day from Coleman to stretch the field and didn’t get it. Northfleet was very good and needed more touches.

Pribula never got his legs under him because without Coleman you didn’t have anyone who could take the top off the defense and Bama is pretty elite in the secondary.

You’re going to win a lot of games, but to win the big ones you need Coleman back healthy asap.

Fun game and good luck the rest of the way.

Agreed, he needs rollouts and passes on the edges and outside the numbers. He just doesn't appear to see the middle of the field very well. I'd also throw more to the backs and let them get the tough yards.

That is all I really wanted to say about yesterday.

That, and kansas still sucks.

Eh. I'm pretty sure Bama isn't the best, but we're competitive and have looked completely different from that loss to FSU.

I think Alabama has fewer ways to beat a quality opponent than Texas A&M.

Alabama is doing a great job maximizing what they've got right now though. I dare say that this is some of the best coaching work we've gotten since even into the late Saban era. The team has a lot of flaws: no pass rush, iffy run defense, can't really get a tough yard on a handoff, only 1 SEC caliber RB, and right guard & tackle has not been settled at the midpoint of the season. However they have defeated 3 straight top 15 opponents.

What they're doing is really close to not working out each week but they've made the plays when they needed them. I suppose that is why it is hard to imagine them going 11-1. You can't keep on needing to close out games in the under 5 remaining. At some point they're going to need to firmly beat quality opponents in the first 55 some. Just not sustainable to need a few plays late go your way to win for 5 straight games then 3 of the final 4 games.

Not sure, but Bama must be doing something coaches upstairs can see...because with respect, I saw Vandy abandon the run too in your previous game, & was thinking all week that Vandy blew its chance by doing that. Very odd.

Alabama controlled most of the game. Missouri shot themselves in the foot early and can't do that against an Alabama team. Alabama coach questionably let Alabama relax the pressure and let Missouri back into the game. Pribula does the same thing as Cook and panicked with the game on the line. He had an open receiver to the left but forced the throw down the middle.Even if Missouri had scored a touchdown on that last drive, I would have come away thinking Alabama was the better team.

Hmm interesting. Georgia did too.

I wish FSU would have.

I echo the OPs thoughts. Though I believe our OC was the best player on Bama’s team, they are for real. Also, other than the stupidity from Young, this isn’t on our players.

Missouri wasn't stretching the field which makes it harder on the running game.

Mizzou is legit. The schedule ahead isn’t easy, but win out and you’ve got something there
