The " Joe Burrows " on the team will make 10 times what anybody else makes... that's the issue.
That's one of innumerable potential issues that will arise when money is legally allowed into amateur sport.

Exactly who is trying to regulate that? Each player has their own agent and can negotiate whatever deal they can. The Universities have nothing to do with how much money each player makes. It's all his or hers alone.

You can't put lipstick on a pig.... most of the players won't be in demand.

Sure, that is how schools are going to use the programs. Come on, I do not even believe you thank that is true. Please don’t make this an Alabama issue to protect. This is a College Sports problem.

That's pretty cool. Good idea

The actual idea behind it if I understand is to try to get ahead and allow athletes to understand what can and cannot constitute payment for NiL. It’s to try to offset the Wild West attitude that is likely to follow with this new NIL.

You mean like a marketing class?

Do they not have those at UA?

Again, so groundbreaking.

Further enabling and encouraging self absorbed amateur athletes to think of themselves as a "brand". What could go wrong?
