I think you should take your own advice. This is the same tiresome argument about Alabama’s schedule. George explained it thoroughly above, I won’t repeat. It’s a typical Power 5 schedule.

Schedule better. Students DGAF about Chattanooga at 11am.

That’s not even really the argument here.

This is all about saban wanting to control even more aspects of the football program.....plain and simple.

Students also were half gone against Miss State before the game ended. And besides students can still easily donate that Chattanooga ticket without getting penalized.

Ok?

Yeah, I went a little overboard with the reply, I wasn't trying to be rude; but it came across pretty harsh. I told SummerOfGeorge that it simply looks that way because of the average teams looking terrible, in comparison. So most games looks like cupcake match ups.

It would just be easier to have armed guards at the exit.

And he's right. Why should someone that goes to the game just to be seen and leaves at halftime regardless of score have the same amount of access to tickets as your die hard fans?

but the University has the right to attempt to distribute their limited number of tickets to the people who will stay and support the team while the game's being played.
So you think the students should be held hostage? This is kind of exactly what bama is doing.

Still can't be worse than this. Hotty Toddy!

no. no he isn't. But I don't expect bama fans to feel any differently. Your fanbase has already cost Saban a Sugar Bowl win and you agreed with him.
bama has zero right to tell anybody how long they can stay at any event of any kind on their campus. Now it's the bama students. How long will it be for the non-student who attends a bama game?

No, what's not a good look is having 2/3rds of the student section empty at halftime for all but 1 or 2 home games every year. They have to try something new.

That's not what's happening.

The team should probably stay the whole game as well and not leave at halftime like in the nattie.

Students were told the points they earn for staying throughout the game will contribute to priority access to regular and postseason tickets.
if you leave enough games early, you can be denied access to regular season tickets.
ETA which is just wrong. There is no way to spin this. It's a horrible look.

This will never happen. There's not even a feasible way to go about that. Those people actually paid a fair price for their ticket too while students get them for like $10.

They're not telling anybody to do anything. It doesn't say there will be a firing squad awaiting anyone that leaves early.
I cannot understand why people on a sports message board are so pissed about a system that actually rewards good fans.
