Alabama lives in the big house and the rest of the SEC are just share croppers.

And it has been that way since the twenties. You boys live in tar paper shacks borrowing money from the bank Bama owns at usurious rates so you can afford to get a crop in the ground and give The Bama Man half of it. Pitiful part is you are just glad to get the work. And live on The Man's land. Because that's the best you can do. Being a part of the SEC is always gonna be that way and you knew it when you came knocking with your hat in your hand.

Course you could always load up your junk and move. And do what? Nobody pays rednecks and swamp dwellers like Bama's SEC. So you won't because the SEC is yes, the best you can do. And it's always been that way.

It's really odd that people take the time to post threads like this. I'd be ashamed of myself if I had this much time on my hands to draft up babbling nonsense about minors & the sports teams they play for. The amount of impact they have on your life is unsettling.

God, what would we do without Bama losing by 28 points and embarrassing the rest of the conference?

You realize Clemson had it tougher vs Scar and Tamu than Bama?

Quite honestly, Bama owes Auburn, LSU and Florida. Those schools rebuilt the reputation of the conference as a football powerhouse while cheating arse Bama wallowed in sanctions. Every "eye test" that allowed Bama to back into their Saban national titles was built on the backs of those teams

I am sincerely amazed that you not only thought of this and thought it was a good analogy, but that you also thought it was worth spending the time to type it (which I imagine was a considerable task for someone of your mental capacity). Not to mention that, apparently, at no point in this process did it dawn on you that it was really stupid, a terrible analogy for multiple reasons, and absolutely not something worth thinking, let alone posting, about.

Seriously I'm merely repeating what many, many of you have posted over the past few years. Alabama owns the refs, the SEC and NCAA offices and nothing happens that Alabama and the REC are not knee deep in. So more than one school has strongly urged their admin to LEAVE THE SEC because Alabama owns it! I'm trying to agree with the protest mob. I thought most of you would agree that it's just not fair.

I always try and picture the setting when a Bama fan posts these kinds of posts.

Where is the guy at that moment?

Man don't rob that clown of his illusion.

"Arrangements typically left a third of the crop to the sharecropper. By the early 1930s, there were 5.5 million white tenants, sharecroppers, and mixed cropping/laborers in the United States; and 3 million blacks. In Tennessee, whites made up two thirds or more of the sharecroppers."

You don't know shitiota about Bama or SEC history. Move out of that singlewide with mommy and cousin Ruth.

Im a lot older than you and remember history. All teams like Bama, Texas, OU, Penn St, Meatchicken and Ohio St go through cycles (pay attention).

Bama went through a few lean years before Bryant moved on and then the Chesterfields killed him. In the 1970s he employed the wishbone, but had a staunch defense to go with it. Bama had more lean years in the 1980s. So did Texas when Daryl Rogers got old, OU wasn't the same after Wilkinson left. Ohio State had to fire their HC when he punched a Clemson player in the Gator Bowl in front of TV cameras, Spurrier ruled the SEC until he left and it took a while to get back on our feet. Michigan wasn't the same without Schembechler etc etc.

The point is this, Bama is riding high now and they too will experience the drop after Saban. Don't be a drunk mook pal.

I may not be as old as you but I got orders to Vietnam and nobody in my outfit had ever heard about it or knew it existed if that tells you anything. So I've got some "experience". You're right all schools go through some stuff. Good and bad. But Bama has been amazingly consistent and resilient. They have far more national titles all the way back to the twenties. In fact they have won national titles under 6 head coaches. Bryant was far from the first. 3 coaches had won titles before he. And two after him. But thanks for your input.

I once had a single wide, BTW, and loved it. Don't partake in smoke, drugs, drink. Work out 6 days. 6'3 182. Chest 12 inches bigger than waist which my doctor says is a key for old guys. 122 over 72 with 54 resting heat rate 2 weeks ago at my cardio. I have lied, cheated and stole in the corp world so there's that. But same wife, 4 daughters through college. Pretty good for for a guy who has slept on the ground and did once own a single wide.
