Okay stat. I can tell you that Malzahn and Sumlin are not interested in being on top of CFB in that particular stat though.

A top 5 Auburn is being "overlooked".

Do you barners really think beating Arky and KSU is better than beating UF and WVU? serious question.

LULZ,

Take a look at the TOP in most of Auburn's games last year and you will see why we are amused at this stat. AU doesn't need as much time to win a game.

The more you know...

Arkansas would be favored over UF at this point in the season... and we blew them out at home after struggling in the first half... sound familiar?

Absolutely, no question about it, but what does that have to do with time of possession?

Neither of us have. So we'll take our games of non-significance, and you can have yours.

A lot of AU fans in this thread don't share your opinion.

I think Arkie (Drilled TT) would beat Florida (what have they done)...

I think KSU beats WVU at home on a Thursday Night... (Very Close Game)..

If Auburn had played WVU and Florida and Bama had played Arkie and KSU, the records would be the same...

Arky probably beats Florida, but at least Arky plays into UF's strength (run defense)

Honestly, I doubt it. The only thing going for WVU and KSU is having played bad teams close and winning (Maryland / Iowa State), crushing an FCS school (Towson / SF Austin), and playing highly ranked teams pretty decently (Alabama & Oklahoma / Auburn). Maryland, though, is probably a decent bit better than Iowa State - Iowa State is REALLY bad.

They probably split those games. WVU probably beats KSU, but yes, Arky probably beats UF.

Exactly!

The back and forth bullcrap about who has played the tougher opponent and which team has weaknesses and strengths is ridiculous at this point in the season. We will all know where we stand in a few short weeks.

It may not be as significant as it once was but it still means something. If a team holds on to the ball for most of the game, that means the other team had better make the most out of its limited opportunities. I don't care how explosive an offense is, I wouldn't want to depend on them scoring on every possession.

not sure about that. would be a very close line on that game IMO.

another very close game. KSU wouldnt win without good FG kicking

Bama has always been in the positive for TOP. However, the leading thing is new, but nothing telling.
