They cope on a varied of ways ranging from beating their sister wife, shooting a family member or neighbor, or poisoning trees.

You see, when your team and program are built for the long term, not a miraculous run to playoff contender once every decade or two (or never)
Your team has won nothing of note since 2017. You’re now built long term like Penn State in the 90s and 2000s

The reality for anyone objective is that when you play against other elite teams the margin for error is extraordinarily small.
Mistakes that get overlooked during the season against teams with subpar rosters cost you championships in January.
When you hear people laugh at Bama fans for being hypercritical of mistakes and issues during the season it’s because you quickly learn those are the things that cost really good teams championships.
The other lesson id encourage you to learn is that you have to enjoy the season and not make your enjoyment completely dependent on winning everything or else it’s not worth the time, money and involvement if you can’t lose in the playoffs and still have a positive attitude about the season.

Reach back to all those 7 loss seasons you had the last 10 years.

Most of them cope by busting beer bottles against the side of the double wide or beating their gfs

Win some, lose some. Texas had a chance, we didn’t get it done.
Get over it.
But we winning everything next season.

It’s
Because they know they will
Be back .. Texas is in same
Boat as UGA 2017 we were not sure if this was it or not . Knowing now we have built
Something helps

It’s literally just a game played by children who don’t care about you at all
2011 hurt
2019 was ecstasy
It’s merely a form of entertainment and should be seen as such

Obviously you’re discounting 2020 NC, but that’s such a stupid take I won’t bother addressing it. Winning four of the last six SEC championships since 2017 is significant in anybody’s book.

First, remember when you sucked. It's been a while for us, but those of us old enough for the Perkins, Curry, DuBose (UGH), Fran and Shula years - losing two games with an SEC title and a playoff berth is still a good season. Too many folks only focus on the recent history, so they lose sight of the good times.
Second, a good woman. My wife knows the ways to uplift my spirits after a loss.
Third, a good scotch or whiskey, or whatever your drink of choice is.
Fourth, remembering that everyone hating on your team or rejoicing in your victory is because they wish they had as much success as your team has had.
Fifth, at the end of the day, it's a game played by people barely old enough to be called adults, and who are wearing a uniform that not you, nor any of the detractors, have even come close to wearing.

The games are nerve wracking for sure, you have no control over it. I completely check out til the next August.

Alabama has won 3 conference championships since LSU's last one.
Does considering those "nothing of note" help ease the sting that LSU has only had a chance to play for one, and got wrecked?

I have absolutely no control over the outcome of the game. I don't let the game control how I feel. At least not more than a few seconds after the final whistle.

All I remember about 2020 is girl kickers and cardboard cutouts. No one acknowledges that season and I have no idea how the prideful Bama fans don’t quarantine the shite out of that banner.

Conference championships are something schools like Ole Miss strive for. So congratulations on that. Sabaterno is another year older, and another year removed from 2017.
