That should be easier to believe than the idea that Ole Miss play calling was simply perfect - in every situation - against the best defense in the SEC, but was unable to be duplicated against teams like Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi State, & Indiana.

Multiple former Bama staffers, game was played in Oxford, etc. It’s much more plausible than to think Ole Miss couldn’t muster up an offense against Indiana, but didn’t have a problem against a team with half of its starters on the All-SEC team, and who finished #1 in the league in defense despite the Ole Miss showing.

Since being on the site I have never seen an Alabama fan so worried. We about to go in LFGG

The betting public still thinks this is Ole Miss from last year. Just like in 2019 the betting public kept thinking LSU was still Les miles LSU and the lines never adjusted for pretty much the entire season and LSU covered every spread but 1

No, but I did attend JUCO in the godforsaken dump that is Mississippi before transferring back to Tuscaloosa.

What does that have to do with Ole Miss being lying cheats who steal signals and then use a 15 point loss to boast?

There’s no way Alabama is -17.5 in this game

That spread is wild. Vegas rarely misses, though.

Is anyone claiming that there is something scandalous about sign stealing? It happens all the time. Auburn and FSU's NCG turned on a dime when FSU started hiding their signs. It's an advantage you take if you can get it. If the other team is dumb enough not to see it coming, take their signs. Why are Ole Miss fans so upset by the accusation that their coaches stole signs? And how the hell do any of them know whether it happened or not? You think Kiffin is above such shenanigans? The same Kiffin who switched jersey numbers for his players in he middle of a game while coaching at USC? May have have happened. May not have. The indignation of Ole Miss fans at the accusation is a bit funny considering their coach is the exact type to do it.

If you are planning on laying money down on that game, you better do it now because I doubt that line lasts.
Where is this line posted?

I originally thought Ole Miss was the pick here.. but with EVERYONE jumping on that side.. it looks more like a sucker bet to me.

I would still pick Ole Miss as the offense looks legit and the defense looks a lot better, but I would be nervous doing so..

Early in the season is the best time to load up against teams that were historically good the season before

Bamas lines right now are based on public perception of last years team. Loaded up on Florida last week and will load up on ole miss too

I expect the line to be somewhere around 17, when it should realistically be around -9.5

Ole Miss had our signals last year & the gnashing of teeth from Bama fans & eager finger pointing from other fan bases is based on a false premise. Bama will get tested, but it will not look like last year’s game.

I guess Fla had the defensive signals too

How much you putting on alabana -17?

I don’t see it being that close. But it’s one of those situations where Bama takes their foot off the gas and OM covers late.

It’s simply the only logical explanation for that game to be such an anomaly.

So, you're saying that Alabama has the dumbest fricking coaching staff in football, if they cannot change their signals, several years of losing coaches? Do you really think Saban and his entire staff are that dumb? That's the only "logical explanation" to explain your belief.

Y’all are wild

Did you not see the game last year?

Idk wth Kiffin did but I’ve never seen a defense manipulated so easily. On nearly every play Alabama’s LB’s and S’s would completely evacuate the middle of the field, leaving Ole Miss players WIDE open.

With the DC back and the way they looked against UF, there no reason to expect anything different to happen this year.

And this Alabama offense won’t be able to keep up with that.

Ole Miss will score early and often. If you can't stop Emory Jones, you have D issues.

Florida put up about 200 yards less than Ole Miss, had 6 minutes less time of possession, ran 20 fewer plays, averaged a half yard less per play, and averaged 2.1 yards per rush to Ole Miss’ 4.7.

But sure.
