O rlyyyy, because I haven’t said one word about Ole Miss in this thread:

Florida exposed the pussies in pink.

We now know just how soft that front seven is.

Henry TuTu, Wilson Anders, Phartdarian Matthews - all so laughably overrated and absolute cheekz!

I knew it all along!

How can a program be so good and still have fans that are so insecure?

Teams that Ole Miss put up fewer yards against:

LSU
Florida
Kentucky
Arkansas
Auburn
Vanderbilt
Mississippi State
Indiana

while technically true, it's not as if they put up a small number of yards against those schools either, so I wouldn't call the Alabama game an anomaly per se. Ole Miss had the following total yards against those schools last year:

Florida 613
LSU 558
Kentucky 459
Arkansas 442
Auburn 444
Vanderbilt 641
State 550
Indiana 493

Ole Miss averaged 555 ypg last year. Alabama also hadn't started to gel on defense that early in the season last year. They also gavce up 450 yards to A&M the week prior, and I think we'd probably agree that A&M didn't have a great offense last year. I think the logical explanation would be that Ole Miss played their best game of the season and Alabama their worst than trying to say they stole Alabama's signals. But if they did, in fact steal Alabama's signals, I'd say Alabama needs to change their signals and Ole Miss coaches did a good job of picking up on them. I'd also argue Kiffin being a great offensive mind and having coached under Saban for a few years was an advantage for them in that particular game

True but what explains other teams being able to handle Ole Miss' offense but not Bama who had a decent defense last season?

Dude get out of here with all your clarifying facts, appropriate context and sound logic!! That’s not how Alabama fans’ minds work.

Ole Miss couldn’t muster up an offense against Indiana

They had about 500 yards against Indiana. I'd say that's a lot of offense. Indiana slowed that game down and dominated the TOP to keep the score lower. Ole Miss also had two long drives end in FG attempts and didn't convert on 4th down in another long drive but they had no trouble moving the ball in that game

Just for clarity - if anyone is wondering… Ole Miss put up 200+ more yards against the SEC’s best defense than they did the teams listed above, and went 4 for 4 on 4th downs.

Miraculous.

Alabama had the 3rd best defense in ypg, behind A&M and UGA. State only allowed 389 ypg and Ole Miss put up 550 against them. Were they stealing State's signs too?

Miraculous.

Like Alabama gaining 564 against a UGA team giving up, on average, 250 fewer yards per game? Or what about gaining 544 against an A&M team giving up 317 per game? Was Alabama stealing signs?

I doubt it comes down much. Bama is at home, has played a tougher schedule, and people know that Saban will have the team angry.

But sure

Lol who said they put up the same stats?

By that same token, how can a program so historically below average have fans that are so confident in a win?

I haven't seen many, if any, Ole Miss fans on here predicting a win against Alabama

Here's what has been posted ITT by their fans

quote:

Not terribly unfair, Alabama is the best team in football right now, and this is a road game for the Rebs. I just think we can score enough points to lose by less than 17.
quote:

Ole Miss covers easily. Tide wins though.
quote:

That spread is wild. Vegas rarely misses, though.

Having fans confident they'll cover a 17.5 point spread is not them being so confident they'll win

This is one of those tricks Vegas pulls. See Bama barely beat Florida and OM looks better than Florida so this should be easy money, right?

That's how they get ya.

Saban chewed arse all week and Bama probably beats OM by 21.
