I’m not sure anyone really “stopped you,” but the only teams Ole Miss put up 600+ yards against were Bama, Vanderbilt, & South Carolina. One of those finished with the top defense in the league & won a national championship. The other two fired their coaching staffs.

Gonna be hard to beat Ole Miss by 3+ scores with their offense. This line is inflated just like the Florida-Bama line. Bama may win by two possessions, but I could see this being a one possession game.

Having defensive signals isn’t a logical explanation at all. We went too fast for that. But Kiffin openly admits that he has an advantage after practicing against Saban for three years. He knows exactly what saban wants to do against any look.
Also, it’s not Ole Miss/Bama week. Saban would chew us all out for looking ahead.

Multiple former Bama staffers, game was played in Oxford, etc. It’s much more plausible than to think Ole Miss couldn’t muster up an offense against Indiana, but didn’t have a problem against a team with half of its starters on the All-SEC team, and who finished #1 in the league in defense despite the Ole Miss showing.

Your defense didnt even have time to get signals called in before the offense was already snapping the ball.
Now if we used every second of every play clock and audibled every single play that would make more sense.
What happened was Kiffin came out with a game plan. Made Saban stumble and Kiffin never let his foot off the gas. I do not expect Saban to be so blind sided this season by the speed.
But we moved TOO fast last year against yall steal your signals.
