Notice how Bama fans are able to give credit where credit is due to LSU? Remember when Bama was at the peak of its Dynasty during the Saban era and LSU fans for the most part could never admit Bama was great. This is an example of the inferior complex LSU seems to have. This just crossed my mind as I've been reading all of the posts and I see Bama fans give LSU their due (something I rarely see LSU fans do).
I agree LSU looks great although I'm still reserving judgement because I don't know how good Clemson really is just as I don't know how good East Carolina is. Clemson has been declining a little bit each year since Brent Venables left. Either way I think LSU's win over Clemson is better than Bamas win over East Carolina but I'd hold up on the "We're going all the way" talk from either until more data is gathered. Jumping the gun makes the fall worse if things don't work out like you anticipated. I'm talking to LSU fans now. I think Bama fans realize we still have some work to do.

I don’t believe any real lsu fan did not respect bama’s run. We did not like the fact that you were whipping our arse with our ex coach who spoke highly of lsu

I only hated Bama because Saban was the coach. That hate is nowhere near what it once was. I dislike Bama but there are a few other programs I despise. Online fans are always different than in person. Always had respect for Saban, but it was a different hatred because he was at LSU first and in the end built a dynasty at a rival program. Thats the big difference there.

As someone else pointed out, with the exception of Baylor, Clemson would be a double digit favorite over all other SEC opponents yesterday.

Even though LSU looked good yesterday this proves my point. Posts like this means either you don't understand that this is football and anything can happen. Underestimating Bama is just plain dumb! We may not be 2011 Bama but let's be reasonable here. One reason why Bama was as good as they were for so long is because the team NEVER became cocky. The fans may have but Saban kept that schit in check with the team. Continue to doubt Bama with your "lonng time" talk.....time will tell.

Buddy, this is football. shite talking is going to happen but there is a difference between respect, shite talking, and delusion. Disagree there good sir. While there was some trolling, Bama was the standard during that time. That “rivalry” during that time may have been some due to Saban but the majority was LSU fans knowing that in order to win the west, go to Atlanta and a national championship went through Bama. That was the true driving force behind that game. Always will be trolls but LSU fans always knew who we had to beat in order to make a run at a NC.
