Someone correct me if I’m wrong here…

So he was basically pushed out by Alabama, but after the deadline to transfer to an SEC school?

You are wrong. He did this to himself.

I don’t disagree with him doing this to himself. But why now? Did he do something recently?

I mean I don't have direct knowledge of his situation, but it must have happened recently otherwise he wouldn't have been removed from the team.

He lacks maturity and it's the middle of spring camp.

Now BOL is saying he was scheduling visits with Oklahoma, USC and Florida and didn’t tell anyone. One of the coaches reached out to Alabama and let them know and that was the final straw.

From the Bama board. Still unconfirmed, but potentially talking to other schools while on the team and attending practices for UA sounds like enough reason for Saban to be pissed off.

That rumor doesn't pass the test for me.

How does one person know that he tried all 3? It would be more believable if they just said Florida or 1 school, because someone might hear that. But how does someone know 3?

Unless perhaps schools were added as cover for the 1 that told. Either way, it seems odd to me for 1 person to know all 3.

This guy didn’t get a SINGLE rep all season, because Saban hated him, and then Saban puts him in the NCG because he had no choice, and he drops one ball (while also making some big plays), and everyone says he’s a failure?

This kid is going to go somewhere else and ball the frick out, and end up getting drafted in the first round. The dude is 6’3” runs a 4.4 and has great hands.

Everyone is making assumptions about his character and work ethic when
Tua, Najee, Derrick Henry, among others ALL would’ve transferred out with the new transfer rules. So stfu

Jake Coker walked into Sabans office and slammed his helmet down on the ground because he was so pissed that Saban wouldn’t give him the starting job. Saban was wrong, Coker was right.

Everyone always assumes that Saban can do no wrong, and it’s always the player’s fault.

He dropped more than one.

Kind of a Catch-22 situation if this is true.

Like when you have a job and are unhappy.
Do you look for a job and tell your current employer and chance getting fired? Or do you do the right thing, tell them and chance getting fired for not being loyal?

From the Alabama perspective: You find out an employee is looking for a job and didn't tell you...do you fire them and try to hire someone else and move on, or do you let it play out and possibly miss on more qualified replacements?

With the Transfer Portal it makes it even more tricky.

I would think whether or not there were other issues with the employee might make the difference.

I knew early on that you weren't actually an Alabama fan. I am pretty sure I even said so.

In any event, I think Hall was targeted on 6 passes in the title game and caught only 2. The drop on the 4 or 5 yard line was huge.

Good riddance.

The drops are not concerning to me. Not every freshman WR is Devonta Smith. The kid is talented but raw. The constant complaining on Twitter is the issue. That’s just airing out a bunch of dirty laundry.

Exactly. This kid is as immature as any that has come through the program under Saban. Spoiled little bitch is what he is. He pulled the same type of crap in high school. Talented, but won't get out of his own way. I blame his parents.

“The biggest mistake coaches make is taking borderline cases and trying to save them. I’m not talking about grades now, I’m talking about character. I want to know before a boy enrolls about his home life, and what his parents want him to be.” Coach Bryant
