Heard he was interviewing in Aggieland, surely it's not to be your OC right?

Maybe he and Coley can team up.

I remember when you told us LSU would beat A&M this year

Why are you trying to deflect from us having an honest conversation about Lawrence Dawsey?

Likely.

You'd think they'd make the OC hire first though and let him have some say.

It'd be just like Jimbo to make people like Dawsey and Coley co-OCs though.

Dude . . . App State kicked our arse this year. We need to get in on some of that.

Plus, it is the FSU connection.

Rumor is that we have already decided on the OC but haven't announced it yet.

I believe that's just a rumor.

Supposedly, there are OC interviews actively happening.

Not sure if they're virtual or in person.

Didn't you tell us you were launching some SEC website in November?

We're still waiting, Daniel...

My understanding is that OC has already been decided.

From an insider who has nailed most of our coaching hires. He is not sharing the name though.

Interesting, I've heard from several people who swear they're still interviewing.

Maybe they're waiting till Saturday to announce.

Both things can be true. I believe they have to interview a certain number of people for any opening since A&M is a public university.

True.

And these could also be position coach interviews and that's getting lost in translation.

I'm quite interested to see who the hire will be, I don't anticipate it to be some stand alone OC though.

From a lot of Jimbo's comments post LSU, he still seems to think his offense is fine.

quote:

“That’s what I was saying, it’s young guys and growing and developing,” Fisher said in his postgame press conference. “It’s there. It’s what I said, it’s going to be there. There’s nothing wrong with what we’re doing, it’s how we’ve got to do it and how we’ve got to get the maturity out of them and what happens and execute what we’ve got.

quote:

“Our kids just relaxed and played and they grew up and they matured. There’s a lot of injuries and young guys all year. That’s not an excuse, but that’s the facts of life.”

It's looking like Longo.

Longo as OC:
2017 - 17th ranked offense in the nation. 33 ppg.
2018 - 9th - 34 ppg
2019 -12th - 33 ppg
2020- 5th - 42 ppg
2021 - 10th - 35 ppg
2022 - 11th - 37 ppg

(I hope this gives Sidewalk ample time to get his research in high gear so he can find the right way to spin Longo as a terrible choice...)

Sadly, there is no doubt you are correct regarding our favorite “in the business” internet writer.
