In the modern era, You all consistently rank in the top 3 Nationally for Athletic Department Operating Revenues, Expenses, Donations, and Profits. And yet. . .this is what you have to show for it (per wiki):
NCAA team championships
Texas A&M has won 13 NCAA team national championships
Men's (6)
Golf (1): 2009
Indoor Track and Field (1): 2017
Outdoor Track & Field (4): 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013
Women's (7)
Basketball (1): 2011
Outdoor Track and Field (4): 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014
Softball (2):1983, 1987
No championships in the 3 big sports: Football, Basketball, Baseball. (And no. . . noone cares about 1939).
(PS: It's also worth noting that many of those Track and Field championships were won after you all stole Pat Henry from [wait for it] . . .oh yeah, LSU).
Seriously. . .Explain yourselves. How do you all put up with this?

Feel pretty good. Thanks for asking.

That’s a big misconception. A&M has not been consistently ranked in the top 3 for Athletic Dept Revenues, Donations, and Profits. That’s a recent trend, since joining the SEC.
Prior to that, A&M was middle of the road. In fact, A&M has had notorious penny pinchers as AD and we were way behind in facilities for a long time.
Do you have supporting data for this claim? I’ll happily retract if you have data to prove this.

I woke up this morning in the great state of Texas, and dont tie my self worth to how my alma matter does in sports so feel pretty good to be honest.

Aggie is Failure to Launch. They will get over the hump eventually, but there is something weird in their culture that causes them to self- destruct. Knowing this they have always tried to spend their way out of it. Their weird emotional attachment to Alabama has only weakened them further. And now they are the NIL Guinea pig and that’s going to implode on them too.

$4,250,000,000...raised from 903,600 gifts from former students, creating 3,364 endowments for grants, scholarships, research from the recently completed educational capital campaign, over the last nine years. That’s not counting the $1,600,000,000 permanent endowment fund. That’s how we feel about it little man. Want to compare LSU fans support to their university? Lol. LSU, poster child for the saying...”all hat, no cattle.”

Pretty sure we weren't even in the top 20 back in the 2000's. The revenue really didn't start to take a spike until Johnny Manziel in 2012.
OP failing to launch.

When are you defining modern era?
Yes, Aggie is a financial monster now but that’s a recent achievement

You frickers are just as retarded as UT fans and can’t see past your nose

Now now, let the have 1939
It’s a point of reference for how bad they suck since WW2

Well quite honestly I haven’t given it as much thought as you have.

Ok keep thinking that. But it must bother you to be so sure of your financial superiority when poor LSU has 9 championships in baseball/ football in the last 30 years and you rich guys have zero, zip, nada. You guys are like the US government over there, squandering your assets. We are tight and efficient and we win crowns.

Stumbled into the ESPN website and saw the way too early rankings going into next season. Bama was #1, Georgia #2, somebody #3 and the Aggies #4. ESPN knows what's going on.

Stupid frick aren’t you? Lol Do you even have a clue what a university is supposed to do? Obviously not. It’s supposed to educate kids, that takes money dumbass. I doubt you have ever set foot in a collegiate classroom anywhere. LSU is one of the oldest schools in the country. Why hasnt LSU established itself as one of the strongest financial schools? Not our fault LSU isn’t relevant anymore, and LSU T-shirt fans fail to support their school. That’s whats important. Not some uneducated dumbass crowing “we play foosball.”

The way I put up with it is I am just a fan. What happens on or off the field has nothing to do with how I feel. It’s just spectator sports.
My degree from A&M has been valuable. No one ever asked me about Ags success or failures on a job interview or during a business discussion.
We enjoy going to games, going to SEC games on the road, going to most bowl games. Will travel 1000 miles to see Ags but have ZERO interest in traveling 30 miles to see the Texans.
Just enjoy it and don’t obsess over it. That’s how I deal with it.

I’d also like to add that most of our school history was as an all male military school, so sports was not as high on the list of priorities with respect to budget.
In that regard, We have 8 Medal of Honor winners. One might say that matters more than sports. How many does your school have?
