Heading into the offseason, Arky is carrying the most momentum and appears to have found a solid defense.

10 starters back on offense, 9 starters back on defense.

Things looking up

Who do they lose, they were playing their best ball towards the end?

Bert's Bacon will definitely be better next year and could challenge.

I like Bert and he has done good things for Arky(took him a lil while) but good things

People will figure out Bert in year 3. Hawgs have hit their ceiling.

Do they still have Allen at QB?

They'll be better. I'd guess 9-3 next year right now.

Texas Bowl MVP Allen?

Yeah he's coming back.

We're on the right track and will continue to improve I think--some cautious optimism given the state of the program the last two years. Too early for me to say how many wins that will translate into as far as next season is concerned.

Nothing to "figure out" - preaches & teaches solid football, both sides of the ball, massive & quick o-line, blow everybody off the line, recruit exceptional RBs, tackle properly on D, & hire a guru DC. ... No "ceiling to hit" when you play fundamentally sound football. ... Sorry your coach isn't aware.

What is there to figure out? Coach B's philosophy is fairly basic with a good defense, strong offensive line, balanced running and passing game, etc. Hogs should be quite a bit better in 2015 but it's hard to predict how much better.

Bo was the Papa John's bowl MVP. He also had a higher completion percentage with a bum shoulder during our 7-6 season.

And he was awful.

He was figured out in year 1 but if he keeps the right personnel it won't matter. Bert is a good coach.

I like what Bret has done, a lot. They're similar to Mich St. in some ways. Nothing revolutionary, just a tough-arse attitude and good execution.

Don't worry they have done this before and underachieve immensely.

over the last 2 years they beat 2 bad teams that got beat in their bowls games in a obviously down SEC. Hoist the trophy.

he may should have been the mvp for tcu too.

i'll say this for ba- he's not the best we've ever had by a longshot but he's pretty tough and he doesn't throw ints in the endzone to the other team. i got reminded of that play earlier and now can't forget, it has to be one of the worst plays of the season, perhaps all time.
