I have a huge scope, heavy and bulky, large end diameter of 56, tube 34, illuminated, made by Tract, and illuminated with light setting every other click, to get the preferred light setting being just one click away. It’s my favorite, a real beast that is incredible at low light, so much so that you really have to watch legal light time very carefully. That being said, it’s heavy as all get out, and you really need to be in a box stand, covering some territory to make it worth packing around. But, that’s what I usually hunt with, and having that tiny dot illuminated makes very long shots very doable with my Christensen 6.5 PRC, just not a pack-in, climbing stand gun, so just have to know how you hunt, where you hunt, to get the right fit.
