I'd bet he's bored as hell and would take a cut rate deal just to get back in the game.
I remember how devastated this place was when we lost out on Hootie Jones. Lots of people saw Adams as the second choice.
I don't know if you can say he's "quickly" become a favorite player when he's been here for 11 years now, haha. But yeah, big time leader and a great Tiger.
This is the outcome the schools are trying to avoid, but it feels like it's inevitable.

The only way to enforce a contract is for the players to be employees, not students. The schools very much don't want that because of the costs and liabilities involved.

One interesting option might be for the players to be employees of the NCAA (or some other league-wide org) instead. Contracts would be defined and enforced through that body. But they still are tied to a particular program, get free school, maybe bonuses for going to class, etc.
His production has really lessened the sting of Landon Jackson's breakthrough at Arky. Swinson is having a statistically better season so far.
Everyone ended up in a good place, but Swinson has better stats than Landon Jackson, who everyone wishes we had held onto.
Storming the field is fun, it’s a social event, it makes students and others feel like a part of it all. It’s unique to college football and I think it should just be a normal thing after games.
Yeah there’s no way they’re going to make the refs decide if an injury is legit or not. It will have to apply to every one.
It sounded unhinged on TV. In a good way.
Then they are employees. Which the schools seem hellbent on avoiding, thus the mess we have now.
Profit isn't the goal of college sports or academic programs. These aren't businesses.
Maybe to Mizzou if their DC were to leave?
The Bernard-Converse play to break up the first down pass just before OT was huge. Bama has a good shot at punching it in if he doesn't make that happen.

Edit: Also, when the Bama player runs off the field on the 2-pt conversion - "I thought #13 had just had enough."
Great tiger, did everything the coaches ever asked him to do

There’s no logic behind any kids decisions anymore. It’s all about NIL, easiest path to the field, and the portal.

"I'd make more money and play sooner at another school" sure seems like logic to me.
I don’t see him on their depth chart. Two championships that he doesn’t play in?
Over 3 years. Who’d have thunk it, leaving LSU to go to TCU.

I was never really high on Sampah, but I thought Phillip Webb would be an absolute monster.

Man, I had to go back and look - but Phillip Webb was a .97 composite recruit with all the big time offers. Amazing he barely saw the field. Recruiting is just a crap shoot at times, hopefully you hit more than you miss.
