And that is why he was brought in, to be honest. King and Weigman are the prototypical QB that Fisher is fascinated with.

I won't disagree with that, he likes an odd type of guy for what he actually runs.

Max is a better fit for what he actually runs, I think his fascination with true dual threats are why he has struggled with quarterback development dating back to Jameis.

Not sure where King is going to be the starter is coming from. Max and King are splitting reps right now. Heck, the team has just now started practicing in full pads. It’s still wide open and as I mentioned earlier whether it’s Max or King that gets the start in the first game, they better play well or the back up will be in the game fast.

Well Max Johnson is no bueno that's why we cut him loose. I saw the bridge land kid play in the playoffs....wasn't impressed. Probably the Longview kid is yur best hope. Bout a 7 win season..

Do you think any of them have a realistic chance to get A&M 8 wins this season?

King doesn't run anywhere close to a 4.3

I don't know if he is 4.3 but he was clocked at 4.5 at the Elite 11 and the A&M coaching staff has said he has run faster times since getting to campus.

Correct. He's in the low-mid 4.4s.
