Dude in the last 21 years LSU has won 3 NC and played for another, also won 5 SEC Championships and played for another. Outside those Championship teams other 2 finished in the final AP top 5, and only 3 or 4 teams in that span have not finished the season ranked.
Do you have any idea how far away from Aggie reality that is?
Their outlook is even worse that their past.. Forget being stuck with Fisher... how much do you think a competent coach is going to charge them to go there now?.... and do you think they will get one decent recruit that won't demand a big payout upfront? We are seeing now how that translates to culture having players that are just there for money.
A&M has an irrelevant past and a horrible looking future. Comparing LSU and A&M is just flat-out cruelty.

NIL opportunity costs for the tens of millions aside, the "big money Ags" will impress with a buyout. Just will cost them the rest of 2022 and likely 2023 seasons, unless SEC raids their transfer portal -- the neutralizer of NIL $ and bad execution thereof.

We were never in this shape. ATM is in really bad shape with it looks to only be getting worse while we had a light at the end of the tunnel

LSU was less than two years removed from a title. As bad as things got, everyone knew O was on his way out.

Well shite. My math skills are about as effective as A&M's offense. They have an advantage there though. They only have to count to 24 as that's the most points they have scored in an FBS game all season.

Well, Coach O's buyout wasn't $86 million and we were coming off of a fresh natty.
But this particular week that they're having right now reminds me a lot of the week after the 2020 Bama game. Players opting out left and right, any comment Coach O made was put under a microscope like when went he said Arik Gilbert's body was hurting, T-Bob was having drunken arguments with Bama fans on live radio talking about "We are Greece" to try to justify getting nuked on the field. Was just absolutely drug through the mud in the media and every day it felt like it was something new. I've seen bad weeks after bad/embarrassing losses before but I honestly don't know if I can remember a singular game week as bad as that.
The only saving grace was Dan Mullen's arrogant arse obviously using the week leading up to our game as an extra week to prepare for Bama in the SECCG and resting Kyle Pitts leading to that upset in the Swamp. Kiffin is coming off an arse beating of his own so he's going to be taking this seriously.
