I disagree. This site and TexAgs are hardly representative of anything in the real world (and even TexAgs goes about 50/50 when the subject comes up). Sip students voted >96% to bring it back not too long ago. Gig Em Gazette readers voted 77% in favor of playing again. And yes, I realize those polls are inherently slanted towards a positive answer (why vote at all unless you're voting "yes"). But to say "neither fanbase wants this game" is incorrect.

And then you have John Doe, who has no dog in this fight and just wants to see the game again. I'd wager John (who WAY outnumbers grads + students from both schools) would vote right around 100% to bring it back and is wondering what all the fuss is about.

Woodward keeps saying "maybe in 10 years" and frankly I would be completely ok with it by then.

In 10 years either we have elevated ourselves as a program or we have lost all the momentum to do so. The next round of realignment will happen in about seven years so we won't be handcuffed right before the next era for the sport. Also in ten years our SEC rivalries will feel more real so the Texas game can never completely overtake our psyche like it did in the big 12 era.

It is all about timing.

One good season? They have a better record than you do over the past 20 years. Maybe if they'd have been lucky enough to win a national title with two losses they could be on your level.

LSU- 4 SEC titles and 2 national titles

UGA- 3 sec titles and 0 national titles

Aggy, go home little man. If you are going to ride a dick, stick with Bamas

I mean, this thread is pretty embarrassing considering A&M only has a winning record vs Arkansas

I'm we aware of that fact. They've also been to 3 other SECCGs and you've been to 1. They've also been a count hair away from two NCs in 12 and 17 and were just as good as LSU in 07. They just haven't had luck fall their way. But for you to have some air of superiority over UGA is just stupid.

All that Texas money and it would be simple to buy all of those games out. WTI is back over seventy now.

stfu, you inbred aggy. MOST people tell aggy jokes. Y'all trash.

And you streak about to be over. Will be sweet beating you with an Aggy on the field and in some key bEast Texas recruiting battles.

Tom Herman Calls for Texas and Texas A&M to Resume Their Football Series

When the split took place, parties on each side blamed the other for the rivalry’s end. The truth is that both schools acted in their own best interests, and the rivalry was a casualty.

Whoever is to blame doesn't really matter anymore.

Herman is right.

UT and Aggy should be playing on Thanksgiving.

I don't want to play Aggy on Thanksgiving. Black Friday was a fine day for LSU's final conference game. The opponent wasn't a true rival but then again neither is Aggy. But I can't get all that excited about a game taking place while I'm in a serotonin coma from too much turkey. I've been in Texas for a couple of the game (well, my folks house in the Hill Country outside San Antonio) and honestly I think folks are way more interested in watching the Cowboys play on Turkey Day. I can't muster up the energy to drive over to College Station and ruin what should be a relaxing day with the family. On Black Friday, I'd much rather be at a stadium yelling and getting hammered than anywhere near a mall.

Deep down, Aggy knows the Horns are who you want to be playing on Turkey Day. But your stubborn pride won't let you admit it.

LSU fans don't really care. We could go back to playing Tulane. Bama is the only November game we really care about (and some years it really shows in the lack of effort after the inevitable letdown). Somehow we still manage to beat Aggy anyway but our heart will never be in it.

Besides, y'all had much better luck against LSU when you played us in September. But if you want to continue to submit to your annual late November whooping, then that's fine by us.

I feel like I missed something.

Apologies, indeed I did.

I will worry about that when it actually happens. So far this cycle we are stepping on your new coach's dick when it comes to recruiting.
