Texas is good. They aren’t as good as the media thinks every year. Consistently overrated in virtually every sport.

You know it. I know it. You did a great job living up to that #1 ranking last year, didn’t you?

But keep up this false narrative / SEC victim card. It’ll play well on this message board. Enjoy your upvotes while this post inevitably gets downvoted to oblivion, because feelings matter more than facts on here.

Calm down, buddy. You're right. Good job.

Texas has been to *checks notes*

Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, USC, Nebraska (back when they were Nebraska), Penn State, & Georgia and we're supposed to be worried about tenner?

I'm telling you. This Tennessee team this year has a different mentality and culture. Indiana's strength and conditioning coach combined with Jim Knowles have instilled a new toughness. We are going to be the most physical team in the league this year besides maybe UGA. And for the first time in forever we are loaded at linebacker position on defense and dline is stacked and secondary will be much improved as well.

You say this every single season.

Do you think in modern football the only stat that matters is rushing offense? This isnt the 70s and 80s there’s a lot more to football than just running the ball

And yet all that ND still plays no one and is running from USC. They can join the big 10 or keep this nonsense of playing no one their choice.

You are right, Texas is overrated (especially strong snd late Herman years) in football due to media bias and clicks. I’ll admit that for sure

Every sport though? Not sure that lines up. Baseball did well this year basketball went to sweet 16 and I know you know our women’s programs dominated.

What sports are overrated beyond football?

He always ignores the inconvenient factors for UT.

Do you truly think that losing 3 times to UgA means we don’t know football lol.

Still don’t understand your point. The sec isn’t rushing the ball as much as they used to therefore the sec sucks? Then you back up auburns own issues by claiming opposing Ds stacked the box.

How about you worry about a real qb and you won’t lose talents like Cam Coleman

There's a legitimate argument for 7-8 teams in the SEC to be playoff caliber teams this season.

There's going to be some really upset fanbases this year when a couple of those teams go 8-4 purely because of how hard everyone schedule is this year.

You guys are simply irrational. When you lose it’s because you play such hard teams yet not one of your hard teams has played for a Natty in 3 years. A weak ACC team beat your only Final Four team.

You guys don’t limp anywhere. You are simply ranked highly by ESPN every preseason because it makes them money because your fans have proven they will spend money on magazines, tickets, etc. Last year the SEC championship was meaningless and yet 70,000 people wasted a lot of money to go to the game when it meant nothing.

And to say certain fans can’t say anything because of who wins a game is funny. If that’s the case then UGA is sitting behind Ole Miss and ND in what they can say. But you guys keep believing your conference is so good. The proof will once again come out in January.

For the SEC to get respect back we have to start winning big playoff games again unlike the past 3 seasons. Especially against the Big 10 who has been dominating us the past 3 playoffs.

I think both will make the CFP. Bama has the next best chance. Ole Miss and Oklahoma have a shot. I think LSU will make it next year. I think Florida will improve a lot over the next two years. I think Auburn will continue to suck.

This is the year that Georgia will not make the playoff. No way there will be 5 SEC teams in the playoff.

Georgia won't be one of the SEC teams to make it this year. You can count on Sumrall to get Florida to beat Georgia and Kirby Smart.

Not sure what to make of GA this season but not sure if we have a good enough O line to pull an upset on them this season. We are due though as we haven't upset GA in a long time. I think Muschamps last season was the last time we beat them when they were favored in the betting line.
