A former Manvel HS football star was arrested, accused of hitting a man over the head twice over tacos.,
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KTRK) -- A Houston area high school football star and Texas A&M player was arrested Thursday, accused of assaulting another person over tacos.
The Eagle newspaper in College Station reports Derrick Tucker's arrest this week stemmed from an altercation that took place on March 24.
Tucker, who is a junior defensive back for the Aggies football team, was booked into Brazos County Jail and later released on $5,000 bail, the Eagle reported.
A police report stated Tucker and another person argued over food. The confrontation turned physical. Documents state Tucker at one point hit the person on the back of his head.

A Texas A&M football player was arrested early Sunday after he allegedly pointed a gun at several people outside an apartment complex and threatened to kill them, officials said.
The College Station Police Department said in a news release that starting defensive tackle Zaycoven Henderson, 23, and Terry Florez Jr., 24, were arrested after officers were called around 2:30 a.m. to the Campus Village Apartments.
"Officers learned that the passenger [Henderson] in the vehicle pointed a rifle at one of the victims and also threatened the other two victims by stating he would kill them," police said in a release.

College Station police have arrested Vernon Jackson, 20, for assault family violence strangulation.
According to online police records, Jackson went over to a woman’s home on March 4 to look for his wallet. While he was there, he demanded the woman give him the passcode to her phone.
The police report says that the woman denied Jackson's request, and then Jackson repeatedly choked her and prevented her from breathing. He also allegedly slammed her head against the floor.
The woman reportedly had bruises on her arms and throat. Jackson told police the argument never got physical.
Jackson was recruited to play football for Texas A&M University in 2018. Texas A&M Athletics confirms Jackson is an enrolled student at A&M but hasn’t played football since his injury last year.

Former Texas A&M wide receiver Devonte “Speedy” Noil was arrested Wednesday on charges of assault, evading arrest and failure to pay bond on two previous charges.
He was released after posting $14,000 bail.
Noil was accused of striking a man, who was assisting in serving an eviction notice to Noil, in the side of the face with a closed fist on April 19, according to the probable cause statement. The two also wrestled after the initial blow, causing injuries on the victims hands, according to the report. Noil fled as officers arrived on the scene, according to the police report.

Texas A&M sophomore receiver Kirk Merritt has pleaded not guilty to two charges of indecent exposure from last fall. In one count, an alleged victim accused Merritt of exposing and touching himself “while sitting in arm’s reach” of her “on or about” Oct. 24. About a day later according to a court document, another alleged victim claimed Merritt pulled down his shorts and held himself also “while sitting in arm’s reach” of her.

Texas A&M indefinitely suspended two football players Thursday after their arrests a day earlier on felony robbery and drug counts.
Yemi Babalola, 21, of Bryan was charged with two aggravated robbery counts and one of misdemeanor marijuana possession, according to a College Station police statement. Brandon Joiner, 18, of Killeen was charged with three drug possession counts, one of them a felony.
Babalola was free Thursday on bonds totaling $52,000, according to records at the Brazos County Jail. Joiner remained in the county jail with bond set at $16,000, records show.

Texas A&M football player Josh Walker was arrested on charges of assault causing injury to his girlfriend and interfering with an emergency request for assistance, police said Saturday.
Walker, 20, a junior linebacker from Gilmer in East Texas, was booked into the jail Friday night. He was held on $9,000 bond.
College Station Police Cpl. Matthew Alaniz said Walker pushed his girlfriend during an argument and she was hurt when she fell into a child's rocking chair. When she tried to call 911, Walker taunted her and blocked her from calling, but didn't realize when he grabbed a phone from her that the 911 operator already was on the line and could hear more arguing and struggling.

That's funny. On the front page, there are 7 threads about LSU. Only 1 of them was started by an LSU fan.

I thought about including the guy who decapitated the jogger, but there were documented serious mental health issues going on with that guy prior so I didn't find it appropriate. I did, however, forget about Manziel. I also didn't include Myles Garrett trying to club someone with his own helmet either after bragging about trying to choke out players on the field in college.

Its not a cultural problem at LSU.
is it only football players? doubtful.
this is not just on college campuses but an issue nationwide and across a number of races.
cultural problem?
we have scumbags that are employed by the American people that served as the Commander in Chief that are known rapist and womanizers.
how about Epstein, who did not kill himself, and the list of guest he entertained on his island?
they will get theirs in time.

Verbatim statement from Coach Orgeron on Twitter:
“The sexual assault allegations made against Derrius Guice should be taken very seriously and alleged victims must be heard and supported. I will always stand up for what is right and without question, I have complied – and I will continue to comply – with all university Title IX protocols and procedures,
The anonymous quote attributed to me for a former player in USA Today in not accurate. Out of respect for the young man’s privacy, I will not reveal the full details of the conversations. What I will say is that a player came into my office to discuss transferring from our program. We also discussed the player’s relationship challenges with his girlfriend. I told him what I would tell my own sons: “We all experience heartbreak growing up. Do not throw away a promising academic and football career at LSU because of a personal obstacle.’ Any insinuation that I had knowledge of his girlfriend and Derrius Guice is completely false.”
