That’s a lot of text.
Make a flowchart!
Flowcharts are key to getting the NCAA and the FBI to establish the facts and bring justice to LSU.

Well good thing LSU removed those in charge during that disturbing trend. AD was fired, Head Coach was fired, President was relocated
Posted on 8/20/20 at 1:43 pm to texag7
Proven and Davis we’re both permanently removed from the team.
Ingram missed a whole season.
Hill couldn’t enroll for a year.
Mett was here years after the UGA incident.
A cultural problem would be knowing about these allegations and doing nothing.
Like, idk, playing your star QB to a NC when there are credible allegations of not only rape but a police coverup.

On January 12, 2011, while in high school, having already committed to LSU, Hill was arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a 14 year-old girl. (charged officially with oral sexual battery)
happened in high school. Wasn't allowed to enroll at LSU for another year after he graduated high school. Was dropped to a misdemeanor ultimately

Former Georgia quarterback Zach Mettenberger pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor sexual battery in Lowndes County Superior Court Monday stemming from a March 7 incident in a Remerton bar, according to published reports.
Happened while at UGA. Went to JUCO for a year then transferred to LSU. Never had another issue like that thereafter

Drake Davis, an LSU football player, is accused of punching and grabbing his former girlfriend by the throat on multiple occasions was arrested Friday, as authorities investigated shifting accounts of what happened.

They minimize the hell out of Jeremy Hills sexual assault by saying he was a senior and she was a freshman.
because it wasn't sexual assault. He hooked up with a freshman when he was a senior. That happens in every high school in America. Hill unfortunately wasn't still a minor when he was a senior in high school like many are.

what's your case? Hill was charged with a crime because of his age and the girl's age, not because he sexually assaulted someone. That's a fact. It's also a fact that he was convicted of carnal knowledge of a minor, not sexual assault. Do I need to explain to you the difference in sexual assault and carnal knowledge of a minor?

quote:
Misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile relates to “sexual intercourse with consent” between a person 17 or older and a person between 13 and 16 when the age difference is between two and four years. Thus, it could apply to a case of consensual sex involving a 19-year-old and a 16-year-old. The penalty upon conviction can be a fine up to $1,000, a jail sentence not greater than six months, or both. Someone convicted of misdemeanor carnal knowledge cannot be made to register as a sex offender.
Hill was 18, the age difference was greater than 2 years and fewer than 4 years. He got a blowjob from a girl at school.
He also wasn't allowed to enroll until the case was adjudicated. Had he been charged and convicted of sexual assault (battery), he never would have played at LSU.
Do we need to talk about Alabama signing Jonathan Taylor after he was dismissed from UGA for domestic assault....only for him to be arrested again for domestic assault while at Alabama? Ole Nick didn't even like the domestic assault rules put in place in the SEC after that incident. So can I say Nick Saban is ok with domestic violence? Is that fair?

Provens had already decided to leave LSU and got in trouble before he could choose his landing destination
Typical player from Bama
I'm guessing Hill would not have been admitted based on his allegation in today's world.
Davis was dealt with pretty swiftly and dismissed as was Parrish.
It's more a reflection on overall society that they can't see what's happened to professional athletes recently.
