Im sad about this. All for fricking money.

Even tho Bama owns us I love this game, been some of the best tailgates we have ever had over the years.

The amount of NFL talent in these games over the passed 20 years has been insane.

It sucks this one is going away.

I know Bama does not look at this game how LSU fans do but we loved it non the less.

Game always had a great feeling to it.

To a fantastic series and game that should be played every year.

Come gather round people, wherever you roam
And admit that the waters around you have grown
And accept it that soon you'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth saving
Then you'd better start swimming, or you'll sink like a stone
For the times, they are a-changing

I've always had this game marked on my calendar since 1993. That was the first game I remember seeing Bama lose in Tuscaloosa in person (we only went to a couple of games a year and usually Vandy or Southern Miss type games). My cousins and I were all ages 9-11ish and we sat by the LSU students. We had a great back and forth with them the whole game. Bama lost, but it was still a great memory for me

it really is.

This game has had some all time environments, even in LSU losses at Tiger Stadium.

This is expansions fault. Teams in this league have already lost their rivalrys or fun games, now expanding more, the leagues favorite teams are losing theirs. Id feel bad but this is what CFB wanted.

I came of age as a college football fan in the late 90's so I thought of LSU back then as just another Ole Miss or Mississippi State, neither of whom typically brought many fans to Tuscaloosa. So it was kind of crazy to me to see how many LSU fans showed up whenever they came. Games against the Mississippi schools, LSU, Tennessee, and Auburn define college football for me. I hate to see any of those go away as an annual occurrence. LSU has become our third rivalry game - not as hate-filled as Auburn or Tennessee, but more fun and typically for higher stakes. Next year will feel very weird without it.

I don't care what other Bama fans may say and all the down votes this may get, but for me personally, the LSU game has been right up there with Auburn in games I desired to win. I mean this from the bottom of my heart - I don't like yall.

All the more reasons the SEC as we knew it is dead. It's a husk of what it was.

Not playing Florida this year. Not playing Bama next year. Whole fricking thing stinks.

At least we got Texas here in the conference. I'm sure that will make everything better

College football continues to morph into a shell of what it once was. Rivalry games are the latest casualty. RIP.

As a soon to be 68 year old LSU fan its difficult to explain the truth of this and how deeply it resonates on so many levels..

I was a child when the Bear stalked the sidelines in Tiger Stadium... man it feels like the sun setting on an era...

So its with heartfelt and fervent passion I say one more time... Bama Sucks!

As I said above, LSU isn't a true rival like Auburn or Tennessee, but that's actually a good thing for the game. Those true rivalries are so venomous that they aren't really much fun. LSU fans on here can be pretty nasty, and Bama fans can be in return, but at the end of the day I don't truly hate LSU and so it's possible to enjoy the game for what it is - a game that typically carries huge stakes for both teams. This year is no different.

Now if/when y'all beat us this weekend, ask me again about my hate level for LSU and I might answer differently.

The amount of talent on the field in those 2011 and 2019 games was insane. Both schools having their best teams in the same season is wild.
