Yeldon would have been better off at Auburn, this much I know. He was built for that offense.
I'm sure Yeldon is beating himself up over this. The man came very close to putting together back-to-back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. All he needed was 21 more yards in 2014.
Had he played at Auburn...who knows?

I'm glad that bothered you and all.

Not sure. I know this. I'm happy as hell we had yeldon. Fumbleitis aside, he was great.

Well, one has championship rings and the other doesn’t.
But really, no one cares.

Julio can’t find the end zone. He’s Andre Johnson with a better QB. That’s not a bad thing but it’s keeping him to being clearly better than AJ.

Yeldon is better at running the screen

All the LSU fans are sure that's the case.***

Better question: Is there anyone who cares?

Andre Johnson (through 7 seasons) averaged 13.5 YPR, 1,135 yards and 6.0 TDs per season
Julio Jones averages 15.5 YPR, 1,293 yards and 6.1 TDs per season
AJ Green averages 14.8 YPR, 1,173 yards and 8.1 TDs per season
Julio is also universally acknowledged (NFL Player rankings, Pro Football Focus, any list on the planet basically) as 1A/B/C along with OBJ and Antonio Brown.
Bish please

I forget. How many 250+ yard games did Johnson have? I know a lot of guys have done it 1x, but Julio is the only WR with more than 1 game of 250+ WR yards (and he has 3).
Was Johnson the fastest guy to 9,000 rec yards before Julio? I know Julio now holds that record of fastest guy to 9,000 career rec yards.
No disrespect to Johnson, b/c he was a beast, but Julio is on another level. He will go down as a top 5 all time WR as long as he stays healthy. And his TD production is as much a bi-product of the way Defenses play him in the red zone as it is idiotic red zone play calling that he's been plagued with in his career.

AU went from a title to zero SEC wins and the coach getting fired in the matter of two years. The most Auburn thing ever.
Meanwhile Bama won two more. I think Yeldon made the correct choice

I do too. Cause without Yeldon stepping out of bounds with 0.01 seconds left, we never would've had this:
