This has been said every year for the past 6-7 season. We will be fine.

would be a little sad, but the only way I'd be a tad pissed is if he went to another college job (which I put the odds of at about 1.4%).

That's why LSU fans are so angry, I get it, he didn't go straight to bama, but he said he never wanted to coach a bunch of overpaid kids (NFL). I think he left LSU pissed off, then went to Bama. What if he went to Jacksonville for 1 year and came back to LSU to beat Bama for 10 years?

Well that doesn't make sense, Bama is the better program. Would not have been a shock if he went straight from LSU to Bama.

Wasn't it pretty tough this year? Like one of the best in the country?

Oh yea, I totally got it at the time. I'd be pissed for 2-3 years then move on, probably.

We've all seen Saban dance. All he wants to do nowadays is drink beer and dance at second lines. Saban to Nola is happening.

I just read this and my head hurts ... am I in a time warp, or did I just wake up from a really long nap?

What year was this statement written? Seems like I've read this before. I guess Deja vu is a bitch for the elderly ... guess I will up the dose of Geritol again.

First the Colts were the perfect situation. Now the Giants. And even talk of the Eagles? Maybe they should give a college coach a try after the Kelly debacle, lol

Arkansas and Tennessee should be loaded

Agree. This is goin to be a hell of an offseason topic. Nobody from the outside looking in wants to see another boring arse Bama vs lame arse Florida SEC title again. Bama been there too many times. They are annoying as hell. Florida should just be glad to maybe get NWestern or Iowa in a bowl game next year and count it as their Super Bowl.

The only reason Saban would leave is that he found another job that challenged him in a way he felt like he wanted to be challenged in at a place where he thought he was given a hand where he could succeed at battling that challenge.

I think he would only leave by retiring and only then when he feel he has lost a step.

To be fair, running a major program must wear you down after a certain point.

So he wrote all that shite just to end it with 'maybe he stays, maybe he goes, I don't know and neither does anyone else'.

Talk about clickbait.

If Saban leaves Alabama, he's leaving to spend time at the lake house and not at some other campus. Possibly he might go for a GM job in the pros but in terms of coaching, he stays at Alabama.

I've heard all of those arguments before but Bama keeps on winning bc they have a sickening amount of talent.
