Won't be USC. Just heard something about that on radio.

Nick’s team leaks this and that’s the best they can do? Only UCLA would take on this headache.

The only way I would take him now is if he comes cheap.

I think he's radioactive at this point. His best bet now is to play at a lower level this fall, work on his game, and try to land a bigger contract in the next recruiting cycle.

Pretty much everyone said CJ Carr is in the driver seat at Notre Dame and balled out at the spring game

He was a very high recruit and most people say he will be the day one starter and has huge upside.

I don’t see Marcus Freeman dealing with that shite

Nah, there's plenty of teams that need him. His value has probably gone down, probably. But don't underestimate the draw of a potentially good QB.

Look at the first round draft of the NFL and all the guys that were reached on due to "potential"

Wherever he goes, he’s gonna get less money than Tennessee was already paying him. He lost all bargaining power to demand more. It’s been fun watching this unfold

UCLA is one of the least committed programs to modern college football. If they land him, he probably took a significant pay cut. Their last head coach voluntarily left to be an OC elsewhere and they just promoted the interim as cheaply as they could without an actual coaching search.

UCLA is also one of only a handful of state schools that will reject a player who is a marginal student.

So I guess the good news is that Nico must have made decent grades at Tennessee.

The problem is, if anyone watches his current tape, they're not going to be impressed enough to make a spur of the moment investment unless they're desperate.

Take UCLA, he could go, cash a decent check, but likely be overwhelmed bc the team around is terrible only diminishing his value further.

Go somewhere small, ball out, put together some good tape, and reconvene.

I would love this kid to not get picked up by anyone so it can be seen as a cautionary tale for others.

I agree.

We don't need 7 threads a day on everything about a former mediocre QB from a trashy team.

Speaking of which, saw a solid story on Ole Miss’s new QB. Shame he gave up baseball this year.

He would probably face plant at UCLA just like DJ Ugh did at FSU.

We’ve had precautionary stories for decades. Remember Marcus Lattimore? That’s the real precautionary story that agents and families use as their guide. One play in a meaningless game cost his family, his unborn children, and their unborn children millions of dollars.

That is why opt outs will continue. And the real smart people push their athletes toward baseball. Aaron Judge’s parents are smarter than all football parents combined.
