Then it couldn't possibly have been him. We've tried to burn him out of Surly more than once but he just comes back with another 10 page essay. You need a crucifix or holy water for him I think.

Surly Horns is pretty much a donghorn only group. They do not really oppose each other much and spend most of their time whining and griping. During the off season, they spend all there time talking about how great they are going to be.

That said, I have not spent any time there in a while. Not sure what is going on now.

Are you just telling me again that we've sucked for the last decade? Yes, I agree.

At least a single sip has some degree of logic.

Program has been COMPLETELY irrelevant for 16 years. Do not be stupid texas fans, Kansas has a freaking better football team in the Big 12.

Stupid post. Always living back in the days of your grandfather. Congrats you guys dominated Aggies in the 50s and 60s. Yea! Feel better?

Now please try to at least be the 3rd best team in the Big 12!!! Oh....you can barely do that.

Until Aggy can beat mid-majors, you can stay quiet. Texas might not be relevant as far as football contention, but as long as you talk about them while you’re still inferior, they will stay relevant. When is the last time A&M has been football contention relevant? Don’t say 2020 because you’re one shot to make something happen, you let Alabama step all over you.

And also at every point you weren’t cheating your asses off. How’ve you done against us since 1995?

This is pure unadulterated wishful thinking. The students on campus have zero to do with the culture of the football program.

Sadly, what you and Aggie haven't figured out is that you both basically have the same problem.

You are both Texans. Being a Texan, you naturally think you are better than the other guy without trying. It is just a status you inherited. And you believe it, cherish it and indulge it.

This obviously provides more motivation for the other guy.

Now this is also true for other teams who have had success (Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia these days)...

However, they don't think that it is their birthright to be better than the other guy because they are from that particular state or school.

You guys Do think that.

This holier than thou bullshite has to end. You mthr fkrs were in there with everyone else...cheating your asses off.
Fortunately for you, you had insiders running the NCAA committees so you could point out the sins of your competitors and hide those of your own.
GTFO with that nonsense of everybody else was cheating...but not Texas.
Fkg laughable.
Clown.

I think as a general statement this holds some merit. We can be an arrogant bunch, that's true.

But I don't share your opinion that arrogance is what keeps us down. To me the issue is much simpler: organizations that aren't aligned tend to not fare as well as ones who are.

At Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma, etc. it's easier to achieve that alignment: you don't have many mega-rich oil barons all jockeying for positions of dominance within the booster hierarchy, trying to exert influence on the program that may not align with the vision of the A.D.

Auburn's Yella Fella is causing the same issues. At Texas we have 20 Yella Fellas. Factions in Dallas, Houston, Austin. Everyone's rowing in their own direction.

An A.D. that can stand up to these guys and tell them to STFU and write the checks and let us do the work can succeed. Unfortunately it's a "fox in the hen house" situation because these dudes obviously have a say of who runs the athletic department.
