I believe bats are checked and verified before each game. Couple years ago, Vandy (I think) had a HR nullified because the batter used a bat that he'd used in the mid-week game but didn't submit it for inspection for the weekend series.
It had a sticker from their mid-week opponent, not their SEC opponent, so the HR was taken off the board and the batter was out.

Georiga drops to 7 in the RPI while Lsu climbs to 25. Since these are common opponents it impacted a few others. UF up to 23, MSU down to 24, & Vandy down to 28.

ALA 5-5 last 10 - won 1 - 15 Q1 RPI wins
USC 3-7 last 10 - lost last 6 - 9 Q1 RPI wins (thanks to 3 Vandy wins and 2 UF wins falling out of Q1)

The seams on the balls were lowered in 2015 leading to less action on pitches and further distance on balls hit. I do not know if there has been a change since then.
BBCOR is more enforced now than it ever has been. Bats are tested before games and a sticker is applied to the bat to show that it meets the spec. If someone is cheating on that, it is willful and intentional.
