Cairo, LSU signee just went. His family has money so he has a descision to make I guess. I feel like he’s probably gone but the slot is like 430 so we will see. He doesn’t need the money
Players all pretty much have deals in place at this point through top 10 rounds, teams just dont waste those picks.
Really sucks to lose him, probably starting SS next season. Coaches are probably really surprised he is willing to go for so cheap.
Last year only 4 of the 310 Top 10 round draft picks didn't sign, 3 in the 1st round. Only 2 didn't sign in 2016 and 3 in 2017.

Matt Cronin and his family are great people. His mom was a teacher at the same school as my wife so i got to know them pretty well here in Navarre Florida. It’s awesome to see he got drafted. He turned down offers coming out of high school (pre draft bonus) to go to college at Arkansas where his family is from and it worked out great for him.

Jerrion Ealy just tweeted “HYDR” so I’m guessing he is going to school. Massive for ole miss football and baseball.
That's a big boost for both football and baseball programs.

We lost Cairo today when we felt he was a near-lock to come to campus, we feel your pain

Gamecocks have thus far picked 8 incoming Gamecocks from our 2019 class, but only two of them inside the top 20 rounds, so I think most all of them will make campus.
Only returning players selected thus far are JUCOs C Berryhill, and RHP Morgan. Berryhill has already indicated that he's returning - he's a JUCO, but a red-shirt sophomore, so he can do this all over again next year, and still hold leverage.
Haven't heard anything from Morgan yet, but he didn't have the best year, but neither did any of our other pitchers beyond closer Brett Kerry. Morgan was pretty much our best weekend starter, and would be in the driver's seat to be our Friday Ace next season. But we'll soon see.....
