Again, presently-currently-right now-this very second we are the reigning SEC Champions. In basketball too.

Nobody doubts or calls into question Alabama's dominance over the SEC during Saban's tenure.

Start living in the present, though.

I'm old enough to remember the Rivals board pre-Saban. This is all you will hear from them from here on out.

And the fortunes of Alabama are about to be reversed! I hope teams that are able consistently run the score up on Alabama.

People on this board consistently set themselves up for disappointment when it comes to Alabama.

Alabama went
17-0 against Arkansas,
12-5 against Auburn,
8-1 against Florida,
8-2 against Georgia,
6-0 against Kentucky,
13-5 against LSU,
16-1 against Mississippi State,
2-0 against Missouri,
15-2 against Ole Miss,
2-1 against South Carolina,
16-1 against Tennessee,
10-2 against Texas A&M and
4-0 against Vanderbilt.

-0 SEC teams had a winning streak against Alabama at the end of Saban career.
-6 National Titles
-11 SEC Titles out of 17 aka 64%. For comparison Kirby is at 25%.
-16 consecutive 10 win seasons. Auburn has only had 1 in past 10 years
-Alabama has won at least its most recent game against every other member of the conference.

LSU was a great rivalry during that time. Some truly great teams matched up.

Gumps are going to be reciting these Saban era records like the rosary nightly as they cry themselves to bed for the next 17 years.

At one point in 2011, the West had the numbers 1, 2, and 3 teams in CFB.

And it wasn’t exactly early on in the season either.

That was Miss St, LSU, and Alabama correct?

And Arkansas was still good then too with Petrino I think. Didn’t look it up.

Hog fans that are seniors in HS have literally never seen a win over Bama in their lifetime

Mind boggling
