Texags - Hearing $15 million Extra
but they can’t get the math to work, so I figured I would take a stab at it..

What We Know
1) Each SEC team is currently making about $45 million.
2) The Big 12 paid out $38.5 million for each team in 2019, for a total of $385 million
3) LHN pays Texas about $16 million per year
(LHN will be gone when Texas moves to the SEC)
4) Each AAC team currently makes about $7 million per team. The 8 remaining Big 12 teams are comparable to AAC teams.

Total Big 12 Money Available
(2) $385 Million + (3) $16 Million = $401 Million (A)

Value of Remaining Big 12 Teams
8 Teams x (4) $7 Million = $56 Million (B)

Make Texas & OU Whole in SEC
2 Teams x (1) $45 Million = $90 Million (C)

Extra Money to be Split 17 ways (16 + SEC Office)
(A) $401 Million
less
(B) $56 Milllion
less
(C) $90 Million
equals
$255 Million / 17 = $15 Million Per Team Per Year

Looks about right to me.. Thoughts? Adjustments?

The new contract that was reported last year was 60mil a year for each school. I look forward to seeing how much over 60mil these additions bring. Im thinking not so much more. Sankey needs to report it bc it looks more likes he’s just going this from ESPN pressure.

That’s until an NFL G league inevitably forms and renders P4/5 football inefficient forever. Capitalism giveth and capitalism taketh away. And I can’t wait.

Oh look, another delusional Texas fan.

LHN has been a complete and utter disaster, hemorrhaging money since its inception. The only reason Texas makes any money on the network is because ESPN is absorbing all of the losses due to the stupid contract it signed. There's a zero percent chance that contract gets renewed and that's not even considering the fact that the SEC should, and likely will, put an end to that abomination.

If LHN is allowed, Sankey needs to be fired immediately for agreeing to that.

Bookmark this, you are going to regret this in two years.

Have a nice warm glass of shut the hell up and think about all the worthless pontificating your university did just a few short years ago. Think about how that same university trashed their value system by following to the SEC.

Better yet, think about how your football team has to figure out the riddle that is Kansas. Kansas for fricks sake.

See y’all in a few.

You forgot to include the revenue that was paid to the NCAA. This money will also be redistributed back to the universities.

Manners fellas, manners! This is the SEC!

There is way you go about this. Example: “ I hope you get gang raped by a pack of escape Turkish inmates while covered in bullet ants.”
Or any other hope of pain/suffering/ or threat - As long as it’s followed by asking how their momma is doing, or offering condolences for the death of beloved dog.

Remember - what most folks see as dysfunctional/insanity, majority in the south see as common bonds.

lol. Not with NIL kicking in.

You think Jerry Jones is going to pay an unproven Bama bound QB more than $1 million to do whatever?

WTF would the NFL spend money on a G league when colleges provide them with a free developmental league?

I cannot believe ESPN in 2011 thought 16 million per year for one team was a good deal.

What a bunch of fricking idiots.

You’re bitter. Also how is minor league baseball or the G league doing? People don’t watch the lower level pro sports hardly at all. But they still watch college sports. Why does that argument make sense?
